Food was all good. I enjoyed the meal for sure. The cost was a bit pricey in my opinion for what we got. The burger and kebabs were good but not the best burger or kebabs I have ever had. I did like the smoky flavor from being cooked on applewood fire. If the price was a bit more affordable I would definitely rate 5*.

We drive an hour away to dine at Wick’s! The best steaks and lobster tail in the Magic Valley! The steak is flavored with a smoke that can you find anywhere else. The sides are all so tasty. Definitely recommend the fried potatoes, loaded! The cocktails do need a little work but we get it!

There are several things in life that can generate life long regret. I will tell you now that if you do NOT make a detour when you are in the area and do NOT go to Wick’s steak house, you will generate a life long regret that you will look back on and tell yourself, “Why didn’t I go to Wick’s Steak House? There was even a reviewer who said I would I regret it if I didn’t come here!”
I have dined on many prime rib steaks, and as of November 2025 Wick’s steak house has delivered the best. The “prime” prime rib isn’t available at all times, its availability is affected by several factors including demand, supply, and this restaurant being located in the heart of downtown Declo. If you decide to go with this steak after accepting its price, you will need to ask if this steak is available, and if you are fortunate, it will be.
I was fortunate enough to have good company the night I had this steak, so that may have unfairly and unjustly biased my opinion of this steak and the accompanying fried potatoes and beans, but I stand by my earlier statement of my personal ranking of this prime rib steak.
I extend my thanks to the warm and kind staff who served me that night, and hope that this restaurant/bar continues to serve quality into the future, especially for those who are looking to avoid life long regrets.

Took my boyfriend out for his birthday. He always takes me everywhere so wanted it to be special. We were seated and it was not busy cause it was a Tuesday. I did make a reservation tho just in case. Our server came over asked us what to drink then noticed some people she knew at another table and went to talk to them. Got there drink order went and made there drinks and served there drinks then went and made ours. Served our drinks and said that the table she was chatting with was buying us a round. She left and came back 10 minutes later took our prefer after she took there’s. We ordered appetizers then our entrees. We both like our steak cooked the same way so it was simple enough. She brought us two more drinks then went to talk to the other table again. After 20 minutes another server walked up to her and said we been paging u for ten minutes ur appetizers r up. She brought us our appetizers then our salads then left to go talk again. We had no silverware no napkins and we had asked for water and never got it. We ate our salads and appetizers without fingers. Finally our food came out and she served that. I managed to flag her down and finally get silver wear and had to send his steak back it was rare and we asked for med-well. We asked steak sauce and I got mine he never got his. Sh brought out his food finally and we ate the steak was amazing. We where gonna get a dessert cause it was his bitmrrhfay but she was still talking. After 30 minutes I got up went and got another server and told her we wanted our check and boxes. She got it immediately and we left. I told the other server she was the worst server I had ever seen. I was not happy at all. I spent $175 on a dinner and couldn’t even get what we needed to enjoy it.

All the food we received was cold, the beans were cold and uncooked, scones were cold, oily, and doughy, fries were greasy and cold. Everything lacked flavor and was way over priced. Poor quality of food received. Dinner salad was a small bowl of lettuce with a few croutons and a few cucumbers. My husbands steak tasted like propane, like it had been in a grease fire. AlthoughThe waitress was nice and very attentive., I don’t think we’ll be coming back. I would have chosen 0 stars if that was an option.

The food was mediocre and priced high. It was a really loud place. I had done a reservation and we were on time. When we got there it seemed like they didn’t have a table for us in the area I’d reserved. They didn’t actively refill the drinks. They didn’t offer our receipt at the end. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Wick’s is such a great meal! Very rustic and chill, with the perfect ambiance for a steakhouse. We always do one of their ‘shareable’ meals, where you split the steak and pay $10 for a 2nd set of sides for the other person. Such a great idea! The fried potatoes are incredible! I love the Rocky Mountain Oysters, my wife doesn’t care for them. Great beer selection, open air atmosphere, great “farm to table” vibe, as there is a butcher counter in plain view. Nice, little, “date night drive” out to Declo to support small business! We always come away happy!
