This cozy place is truly a hidden gem. It’s the place that made Sichuan cuisine one of my favorites. I go there regularly for their cumin lamb. I haven’t found another Sichuan restaurant in the Triangle area that does it this well. The lamb is incredibly tender and practically melts in your mouth. Their noodles are also made in-house, and you can actually see the chef preparing them fresh in front of you, which is a great touch. The staff are super friendly and give excellent recommendations. The place itself is small and cozy, but it’s definitely one of my favorite food spots in the area.

Delicious Sichuan cuisine! Very authentic at a very fair price. Don’t be intimidated by the storefront. It’s a small shop located in a not-so-well maintained shopping center. There is parking, and the restaurant itself has a cute panda on the door to help you find it.
The Dolsot style chicken was really good. It’s a spicy sizzling pot of chicken and potatoes with some miscellaneous carrot slices and such. For $12.95 you get a full dinner entree, which is a fantastic deal for protein.
The spicy boiled fish was my favorite. Perfect level of numbing spice that will send you tingling. Don’t worry. They will give you white rice.
The pork rib mushroom soup was also delicious and paired well with all the spicy dishes to help your taste buds calm down.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is not “fancy” but rather like a ma and pa shop with very authentic Chinese cuisine and fair pricing. Each dish was packed with ingredients too, so you leave feeling like a stuffed piggy.

The boiled beef tenderloin Szechuan style was delicious! The chicken ho fun noodles were good, the noodle quality was phenomenal, but the dish as a whole lacked a little flavor and was not very warm when served. Generous portions for the prices!
They can get very busy, so expect to wait during busy hours if you don’t have a reservation. The service was good considering how busy they were!

Lively atmosphere and was packed when we arrived. Servers are very engaging and aim to please. Food is top quality and made in house. A total gem in Cary! Only wish we’d come here sooner.
Wonton soup, steamed dumplings, chili oil dumplings, and chicken lo mein were all worth ordering again.
See ya there soon!

This is the best spot to eat in Raleigh, the price, service, and quality of food is 10/10. This place smokes Brewery Bhavana. I got crab rangoons, spring rolls, general tso’s, and chilli oil wontons . The wontons were the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

Drove an hour and half and was not disappointed. Food was amazing and came out hot and fast.
Dumplings, noodles, hot pot, sizzling plates… no complaints.
Made the drive twice now because nothing near compare

It’s been a couple of days of no rice nor noodles. I needed my Asian carbs! We enjoyed the mapo tofu, perfectly numbing and spicy. The cumin beef is a must have as the beef is velveted properly and not too soft. The eggplant dish was hot and paired well with the rest of the dishes. The two noodle dishes was made fresh as we saw the nice man stretch and pull apart the noodles.
Great place to stop by for your Chengdu fix!

Chengdu 7 is a true gem for authentic Sichuan food! Every dish was full of flavor and spice, exactly what you’d hope for in Chengdu-style cuisine. The boiled fish in chili oil was outstanding—tender fish with a rich, spicy broth that packed just the right amount of heat. The dumplings and century egg appetizer were both excellent starters, and the stir-fried dishes were loaded with fresh ingredients and bold flavors.
The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. This place really captures the essence of Sichuan cooking—fiery, savory, and unforgettable. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in the area. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic spice!

Amazing food, sensible interior. Best meal I’ve had in a month (beef noodle soup, wide noodles). Chinese food, made and owned by Chinese people.
