We went here because my partner had eaten here before and thought I would enjoy it. She was correct…as usual. We started with the dry rub wings. So by the time I took the pic, we had already chowed down (sorry). I get wings “extra crispy” and these were perfect. Raychel ordered a burger with Tots and I ordered the pork tenderloin with fries. Fries were definitely the better choice because they were dusted with some magical seasoning that was delicious. The tenderloin was a nicely breaded and the burger was a beautiful medium. The only downside was that we had to wait a while before our server came around and it wasn’t really busy. Otherwise it was pretty awesome.

Great food and service. There was even a great band, but even though we are were in the opposite corner of the place, they were playing so loud our we could not carry on a conversation and we had a hard time communicating with our waiter. Great that there is a band, by could you bring down the sound level to a point when we can enjoy the rest of the experience with our friends?

Ordered a burger “medium” and it came well-done (no pink whatsoever). In addition, the lights were flickering (at least above our table) which was really annoying. The coconut shrimp were the highlight of the meal. According to the sign outside they are under new ownership but I couldn’t really tell a difference. Our server was very friendly and was as helpful as probably possible.

I spent $18 on the pork belly bites. I knew it was an appetizer and wasn’t expecting a TON of food, but only 5 pieces for $18 is ridiculous. That and the menu said it comes with pickles and there were no pickles included. An unbelievably small portion for the price and definitely not worth it. Will not be ordering again.

First time I had been back since the week they opened. For some reason, the Local would never come up on “places to eat”. I had the Nashville Chicken sandwich and not pictured was the Berry Crisp. The food, overall, was very good! The Nashville Chicken is more of a red habanero paste, than a true Nashville pepper sauce. Nice heat to it and I liked that they even printed a warning for others that it is actually hot. The Cajun tots were crispy and had plenty of spices on them. The absolute star was the Berry Crisp though. It was in a large bowl, topped with whipped cream and a scoop of ice cream. It was very dense, but on the good kind of way. I could have just had that and would have been satisfied. I definitely think that we will be adding the Local to the family rotation.

This is such a great spot with local, fresh ingredients, plenty of vegetarian and GF options and a solid beer selection. I hadn’t been here in years, but coming back again, it was just as good as I remember. I had the cauliflower wrap and Cajun tots. Delicious!

Not sure why the ratings weren’t better!?
In town for travel ball at Grand Park …10 minute drive. Goggled restaurants and this was down the list but I am glad we found it! Atmosphere was classy but relaxed. Food was delicious and service was great! I had the black and blue salad…AMAZING! My son had the wings…2 thumbs up from him. My husband had the steak taco which was yummy!
Only downside was we don’t live closer!!!

Absolutely delicious! We started with the goat cheese which we wanted to lick the plate clean. I had the steak salad and my husband had the Nashville hot chicken, both were sooooo good! The bacon vinaigrette was DELICIOUS! My only complaint was that we were charged $2.50 for additional bread for our goat cheese. (we had a ton left from the first loaf and were not told additional bread would cost)

Overall expected a little more taste/oomph from a farm to table restaurant. They had a big board that said under new management- not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing.
My chili was cold and flatbread wasn’t warm either. Tasted alright though. My husband’s handheld was good, he liked it.

Food was great, service was great, overall it was great! Came in for dinner to eat and watch some football (and whatever else was on the many TVs). Lots of options to eat and everything clearly marked as vegetarian — really appreciate this. Splurge on the 75¢ for Cajun spices on your tater tots — it’s worth it!!
