Solid American-style Chinese takeout. Ratings should be viewed through the lens of American Chinese food, not authentic Szechuan cuisine. The menu and flavors are typical of what you’d expect from a neighborhood takeout spot, and that’s not a bad thing if that’s what you’re in the mood for. Service is friendly and fast, orders come out quickly, and everything is straightforward and consistent. Seating for dining in is very limited, so this place is best suited for takeout. Overall, a reliable option when you want familiar, American-style Chinese food done efficiently.

Wow what a find! I visited recently while in Dallas and can’t recommend the food here enough. The star of the show during the visit was the beef in tea sauce—salty, sweet, and a little bit of spice. I can only describe as a warm, comforting hug. SO, SO GOOD. The customer service was great. Our waitress was clearly busy managing all the calls for takeout orders as well as in-person ones, but still did so with kindness and grace. She explained to us that the indoor space is a bit crowded with boxes and isn’t fully functional since some pandemic setbacks. Personally, I don’t think it took away from the experience, as anyone that knows about good food knows that it’s not limited to fancy buildings. If you’re a bit claustrophobic though, I’d recommend a to-go order.
One other thing I’d like to give a shoutout to this place for is that they give back to the community. I watched as numerous unhoused individuals came by and were provided food by the restaurant without question. It’s a blessing to see a place treat others going through a rough time with dignity and respect.

This is not like an upscale, high end Chinese restaurant. But what they do, they do well. Great, fresh, made-to-order food. I always pick it up to-go, but there is a dining room and there are normally a few people dining. They do offer delivery (privately, without doordash), which I prefer so the local business gets the money. They do offer delivery through doordash if you like giving your money to an app.

I’ve picked up to go orders from this spot a few times and I’m pleasantly impressed with the food. I’ve ordered online seamlessly and picked up my order promptly. They do charge a fee for ordering online that’s applied when you pick up which, I believe, could be removed. *This spot is to go only, no inside dining*

The pork and hot cabbage soup came with no cabbage . The shrimp and scallop entrée came as a lunch portion and the fried rice was rice with egg and soy sauce, which is not fried rice. For the money spent, I would advise not to spend the money at this establishment. This was 30.00 worth of food from them!

Great take out!!! Everything is straight forward. You get what you ask for. I feel like the portions are like the portions I grew up with. Very comforting. Amazing food and amazing service to match. I will definitely try everything on the menu
