⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ — Almost perfect!
Los Burritos Tapatios is my go-to spot! The food is always amazing — fresh, flavorful, and consistent. The people here are absolutely fabulous: friendly, welcoming, and they really care about their customers.
The only reason I can’t give five stars is the overwhelming smell of cleaning chemicals. It’s spotless inside (which I appreciate!), but the strong scent of Pine-Sol or mop water makes it hard to stay and enjoy a meal. The seating is a little outdated, but it works — that’s not the issue. It’s just that the cleaning odor is so strong it takes away from an otherwise wonderful dine-in experience.I have tried to dine there a few times over the last 8 years and I just can’t stomach smells in the dining area.
Management, Please, please, please address the cleaning product smell — because this place truly deserves to be perfect!

Can’t speak to the atmosphere, I’ve been a lifelong resident and been a consistent customer of LBT for about 8 years now, same phone number the whole time & ordered take out constantly. Although the food is *INCREDIBLE* here… one critical flaw, otherwise no complaints… as soon as they hear an order in English they ASSUME you want the food prepared “Tex-Mex” aka not authentic… as in I’ve had orders where they didn’t even ask for clarity. Most recently (tonight 1/4/2026 specifically) two identical 3 taco dinners “con bisteak y flautas de maiz”… upon arrival I had to order an additional 3-steak taco dinner bc they didn’t understand the original quantity of 2 over the phone) and the additional one I ordered onsite “TAMBIEN bisteak y con flautas de maiz” … pictured below… TEX MEX ordered in person onsite and in Spanish (maybe not perfect but not unintelligible…) food is incredible but the service in this instance, leaves little to be desired. I went to lunch today looking at good reviews and ordered Fajitas. Service was quick and price was reasonable for the kind of food joint.
But food was very underwhelming with my expectations built from looking at the reviews.
It seemed like gravy was half done and chicken was also not well cooked. May be i ordered the wrong dish but it wasn’t delicious. I ate enough to fill my belly and couldn’t finish it.

The service was great no issues there, however we walked in group of 8 of us, the tables were all dirty and sticky, we literally asked cashier for a wet towel to wipe our own tables. We go to counter and place our order cashier was really friendly our food comes out about half of my rice was hard lkke rocks it had definitely been sitting awhile, I ordered the 2 taco plater. The tacos definitely looked better than they tasted, the steak was very dry and some was tough to chew, the food wasn’t bad, it was just dry. I guess i was a little disappointed after reading all the other reviews because my experience was everything but. I would not go out of my way to recommend them.

Order was made wrong after waiting 25 minutes after ordering food which were three burritos. We had to get our own chips and the lady that took the order was super rude when we told her and showed her the food that was made incorrectly. She blamed it on us when we clearly told her what we wanted in the burrito. She was very mad and refused to correct the order.even though my son can’t have one of the ingredients. I will never go back there again which is a shame because that was our favorite restaurant for years. We will be going to the Naperville location from now on.

I got four tacos, one of which had 3 hairs in it absolutely disgusting. Do they not where hairnets??? If you go here, only tip when you’re done eating. Making sure they got your grub right I’m not coming back here

I ordered through Uber eats, and I specifically said I only wanted onion and cilantro on my tacos. When my food was delivered it was covered in lettuce and tomatoes. I’m normally not a difficult person when it comes to things like this but I’m very particular when it comes to tacos. I tried to remove the items that I didn’t like but they’re still stuck to the tacos and I’m really upset because I can’t even eat them now. I literally just wasted my money on food that’s not gonna be eaten because you don’t know how to follow directions.

First time I’ve been at Los Burritos Tapatios since I moved near downtown Naperville almost 7 years ago. It’s only 2 miles away from me! Ordered a ground beef burrito with everything, and sour cream. Prices on the menu have changed since someone else’s pictures on the Google site so I took a few of the current menu. Masks are optional for patrons tho all of the Staff wear them.
My burrito was fantastic. I like hot sauce (that’s one reason why I asked for sour cream) and there was ample amount of it put in the bag. The ingredients all were fresh. This included nicely sliced plumb tomatoes, lettuce and cheese. I ate it too fast to notice if there was anything else like avacado! LOL! The sour cream was evenly distributed down the length of it as well.
The Staff is very friendly. There was somewhat of a rush on customers as 4 turned into 12 pretty quickly. The wait was absolutely normal for such a situation and wasn’t really long at all.
I’ll absolutely be returning to Los Burritos Tapatios again to try their enchiladas!
