Stopped by for a quick bite with the little one.
Kind folks, very helpful. Everything we had was good (I was partial to the old fashioned).
Definitely will be returning, thank you!

Dined on the dog-friendly patio tonight. Hostess was really nice but unfriendly server negatively impacted the experience. Food was mediocre – the $18 Hamachi Crudo was disappointingly small, and the Potato Pizza was just okay. Poor value for money combined with rude/subpar service makes this an unlikely return visit.

This is my neighborhood favorite spot. Their Caesar salad and brick oven pizzas are delicious!!! Recently tried the baked potato pizza for the first time and it was phenomenal. We were fighting over the last slice. Appropriate colder month dish! I must admit, I’m less adventurous on pizzas and prefer to stay traditional, but it’s a must try. We got it without bacon since my friend is vegetarian and she was raving about it.

We hosted a Welcome Party on the Wheat and Water outdoor patio a couple of weeks ago for our daughter’s wedding weekend. We worked closely with Andrew on our needs and special requests and he did an amazing job of accommodating our group. Everything from the food and beverage we selected, table placement, and layout of the space, could not have been better. In addition to the party, we had a private family dinner before hand ordering directly from the menu and bar on a separate tab. Everything was delicious. The party food came out hot and on time and was refreshed throughout the evening. Our server, Makenzie, along with Andrew, handled the entire event with grace, efficiency, and humor. The evening could not have been more perfect. Note about the photos, we did bring in some of our own decor!

Great pizza, which is a bit rare in San Diego! Highly recommend. Good Za and good beers on tap

My husband and I decided to host our family dinner at Wheat and Water after our small wedding ceremony and the entire experience was beyond AMAZING! I was in contact with Whitney via email for months and she always answered all our questions and concerns, she reassured us everything would work out and she exceeded our expectations. We were in their private patio area, which is decorated so beautifully, perfect for hosting a gathering. Whitney personally took care of us and our family and she was so sweet and patient with us. Food was great and fast service. They even cut our two cakes we brought in! Special thank you to WHITNEY and her team for taking such good care of us from start to finish. I highly recommend this establishment if you’re looking to host family or even just go out to dinner. Food and service were perfect!

I am not really a pizza person but Wheat and Water was wonderful! The crust is very delicious and everything was well seasoned. The service was nice and the restaurant is a great spot to watch any game night with TVs on most walls. The buffalo wings were super crispy and enough spice to make your nose run and still delicious! The drinks were too dry for our taste but at least you get your moneys worth in alcohol. The mozzarella cheese on our margarita pizza was not melted which made it tough and over powered to pizza. Overall though we will be coming back.

We decided to try this place, as we were in the area and looking for a beverage and a bite. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, and the service was good.
Menus are still QR code-only, which is meh. We went with an order of Brussels sprouts, which were acceptably tasty, but honestly, among the oiliest I’ve ever had. I don’t feel that the prices match the quality of the food. A side of French fries is $12!
If you’re in the area, I’d recommend, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.
