An amazing sushi place with great service. We went there for lunch given the high ratings of this place. We were not disappointed. The ambience is nice, although, I think they had incense stick light up which caused a minor smokiness in the air. The best part about their sushi is their batter for frying. We ordered 3 different rolls and all of them had some element of frying involved. Things were so crunchy that I absolutely loved it!! The service was very quick but it could be because there weren’t many people there as it was a weekday. Their gypzas are also lovely. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because there was too much oil after the frying, especially in the gyozas.

The food was good and very hot when I received it. The restaurant itself had a cute charm to it. The prices were reasonable. I went for lunch and there was only one other table of customers so it was pretty empty which was nice. For appetizers, we ordered: shrimp tempura and eel with avocado roll. For the entrees, we had beef ramon with creamy pork bone soup and hibachi new york strip. The steak was a little overcooked and chewy, but overall enjoyable. The ramen was a good portion size and the broth was rich and flavorful. The eel was good, but nothing that stuck out as different from any of eel roll from another restaurant. I also ordered a Japanese soda which was fun to drink with the glass marble inside. There were only 2 flavors available but the orange was good. There isn’t much seating so during busy times I anticipate longer wait times. There was plenty of parking in a convenient location.

First time trying this restaurant. I gave it four stars as they are grateful to have your business, you can tell. I didn’t like the plastic silverware but I used chopsticks and after trying the food it didn’t matter. Example, the steak was tender and chop sticks was sufficient to eat it. The food was very good, I’m a steak person and it was excellent but could have used a little more salt but acceptable. The rice I had was different and probably my favorite dish and honestly the best I ever had. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The place was clean and the atmosphere was good. We will go back!! 4 stars!!!

Very nice little restaurant. We got there before 6 and it seemed like they didn’t have much business but shortly after the place started filling up. Their sushi is fantastic. Some of the better I’ve had for the kalamazoo area. Pricing is also far better than what I expected. Service was prompt and kind. We will for sure be back. My adult children really enjoyed their bubble/bobba tea. My daughter even said she’d come back just for the tea.

Long overdue updated review 4/22/25 After years, I finally returned with my beautiful wife Since last time, my love for food has grown and so has my horizons. I got a tiramisu boba. That was delicious, would definitely reorder! We got the crazy train roll, Sapporo roll and the Ichiban roll. I don’t know why I waited so long to return, this sushi was awesome! All of it was good, but the crazy train and Sapporo were our favorites! I’m glad my second visit was with my wife, we’ve been married 8 months now

Came here yesterday after watching a movie. The interior is awesome and clean. The food came out super fast! Shumai and Tuna Tartare for appetizers. Shumai was great, but oh my word, I could’ve eaten just the tartare! The sauce that comes with it was awesome! The sushi was great as well, far better than Tokyo Steakhouse in Three Rivers 🙂

We have been going to Ziki for about 7 years and get dinner to go almost every Tuesday! If that doesn’t tell you how good their sushi must be I don’t know what will. There is absolutely nothing I can say negative about Ziki and always recommending it to those who are looking for a new sushi restaurant or wanting to try sushi. Owners are SO nice! Their fish is incredible fresh and just melts in your mouth. If I could give them more than 5 star rating I absolutely would. Thank you Ziki for your delicious fish and about to pull through during the hard times when Covid happened.

Came in yesterday right about when they opened and had a delightful time. My grandmother didn’t know much about Bubble Tea, Sushi, or any general Japanese cuisine knowledge really- but our waitress was amazing. She explained everything really well and seemed really kind, definitely loved her the most! We didn’t wait hardly at all for anything and always had drinks. The food itself was really good as well, the salmon wasn’t fishy at all and my grandmother seemed to really enjoy the meal she ordered. A great little spot for sure, absolutely worth a visit!

The sushi was excellent, and the waitress we had was very helpful and knowledgeable. We quick service. The Japanese soda was fun and tasted good. I have a garlic allergy, and they were very clear on what was in what and were happy to make substitutions. This might be my new sushi spot.

If I ever get sushi or hibachi meal it is here. Everything is always fresh and delicious. They give you a good portion too. Everyone is also extremely nice I love the lobster roll and if I get a hibachi meal shrimp and chicken. They devein the shrimp! They don’t have the hibachi tables that you sit at they cook it in the back but everything is excellent! Their food is amazing though. Very clean environment.
