A solid 4.5. I plan to come back and try another dish and if the food is this good or better I might have to give them 5 stars. Food presentation was exceptional. Not crazy about the flavor nof the beef in my burrito, but everything else was very tasty and every dish I saw looked fantastic. Large servings. Clean facilities with some nice window seating. Hope to come back and check out the patio in a month or two.

I’ve been eyeing this place for a year now! The food was amazing and came out quickly. Each type of meat was well flavored and distinct.

Note: parking is only one way, so if you miss the side parking or entrance, you may have to turn around.

Took two stars off because our server didn’t check in on refills for our waters. I also was not informed that they no longer had flan and had to flag a waitress to check in on my dessert. She finally told me that there was an issue and no flan available. It was a Thursday night and not very busy so we were disappointed in service. It took forever for our check as well. Hopefully, it’ll be a better experience next time or via to go order ❤️

Y’all… this place is IT for the summer! No questions asked! Everyone around can go out of business because not only was the service amazing, the food is amazing, the drinks are amazing, the energy is amazing and the patio? You guessed it— amazing! This place has been really well restored. The first floor of the restaurant is family friendly and downstairs (on the weekends) is where you get your karaoke on— not to mention, who wouldn’t enjoy a nice cold drink with a great view of the Mississippi River? You all need to stop by and experience this for yourselves. 10/10 recommend!

Delicious food, beautiful patio, excellent service. 10/10 recommend. The ceviche rivals any we’ve had in Mexico or California. Fajitas are generous in size and fantastic. Margaritas are huge and perfect. It’s not cheap, but the food is worth every penny.

Seafood options were delicious & flavorful. The portions were nice size. Everything was cooked perfectly. This is one of my new favorite restaurants for seafood or traditional Mexican cuisine.

First time here and love it! Food was tasty and their drinks are bigger than normal places. Service was quick and friendly. Space, music, + vibes was also really nice. We spent roughly $130 w/ tip.

I had the grilled octopus and my sister had perla negra del mar. I would have liked the octopus a little more charred, but it was still good. The other dish was good too, just missing a little salt. The cocktails are super good, the ambiance and the service too. The girl who served us was very friendly and a second server also stopped by a couple of times to see if we needed anything. It is a little pricey but seafood is pricey, so it makes sense. It is not that easy to enjoy the view of the river because of the trees next to the patio, but I still enjoyed sitting outside. I will probably return because I had a pleasant experience.

Gluten friendly menu options. However, please be very weary & ensure your server & the BOH understands your dietary needs & what it is you can & cannot have e.g. wheat, barley, malt, rye etc.

$32.99 pulpo a las brasas • Spanish octopus slowly grilled in herb infused signature sauce paired with potatoes ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cute little hole in the wall!
The ambiance is so cute, overlooking water.
Service is spectacular, Miriam & her fellow servers are so attentive & kind.
Really does feel like a family meal.

On to the octopus, how adorbs is this presentation jaja! The plate comes out sizzling hot, literally, & the quality of the octopus is superb.
It was fresh & cooked very well.
Not chewy at all.
I wish there was a little more flavor to the herb sauce, but, nothing a little Valentina couldn’t fix ️

$15 margarita flight

I believe there was a strawberry one, limón, mango & mixed berry. My favorite was the mango & límon. So cute & so refreshing! I wish there were baby ice chips in them though, they got warm quick.

Will certainly come back again!

We had a wonderful lunch and great service. Everything from the ceviche, to the enchiladas, to the chicken quesadilla fajitas were wonderful. The seafood fajitas were our favorite. We also sat on the back deck which was very relaxing.

We will definitely be back.
– Piña Tropical was and excellent mixture of sour, spicy, and sweet!! It had octopus, shrimp, cucumber, pineapple, mango, onion, and some special sauces.
– Caldo 7 Mares was very good. It was spicier than others I had. The corn tortillas side tasted fresh.
– Horchata tasted great and had my desired texture of creamy and slightly grainy.
