We’re always on the lookout for a great local pizza place and we found it this week at Grande Pizza. I’ve had this location saved for months. Our family decided Sunday to head over because we were all craving wings and pizza. I’m so glad we came. The inside isn’t anything fancy…your typical mom and pop spot. That’s what we love though. The food speaks for itself here. The service was amazing the second we walked in. They were friendly, patient while we asked questions about the beers on tap and allowed us to try a sample to make sure we liked it before ordering. There were even a few police officers eating inside. That also tells me it was going to be good. They always seem to know the good spots . We settled on the special with 20 wings and a large pizza plus an antipasto salad. Everything came out quickly. The wings had good flavor and crispy but not dry. The pizza crust was crisp and not soggy which was a definite win. The salad was good. My only complaint is my dang kid wouldn’t stop stealing my olives and cheese ha ha . Access to the location easy and the parking no problem as it’s located in a massive shopping center. When we arrived it was almost dead. However the entire time we were there people were coming in and out picking up orders, the delivery guy coming and going and people dining in. I know we’ll definitely be back.

I shared a large pizza with my wife that was pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. I love the sauce and the thin crust. The items on top of the Cross were somewhat cold, but good nevertheless. I loved watching the family team working together to serve up good pizza.

I recently visited this place and ordered pizza by the slice. I was expecting a New York-style experience—large, foldable slices that usually extend beyond the edges of the plate. After opening the box, I found that the slices were more modest in size, closer to a standard portion. The box gave the illusion they were bigger.
I do want to note that I don’t usually measure my food, I just wanted to show it was average length.
Anyways, the crust was light and airy with a clean, non-greasy texture. The tomato sauce was added lightly and tended to get lost in the bread contributing to bland flavor. Overall, the flavor was was quite mild, even the sausage. Since this isn’t the pizza for me, I definitely give it a 4/10. While this may not appeal to those seeking a more robust taste (me), it could be a good fit for those who prefer a simpler, more understated pizza.
The atmosphere was ok, quiet and calm. I was promptly greeted and assisted. The entire visit was efficient, taking around 10-15 minutes.

WOW what a find!!! Why did I wait so long to try their delicious pizza?! I have to say, it is my new favorite pizza restaurant. Every part was delicious – the crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

I used to come here all the time as a kid, and every time I stop in as an adult, I wonder why I don’t come more often. Their pizza is seriously the best. You can tell they care about quality—from the ingredients to how they cook it, everything is just spot on. It’s worth the extra drive passing multiple other places to come here. No other place even comes close.

Very disappointing. Picked up a pizza to take home. When they were pulling from the oven, they accidentally pulled off the toppings from one side. They re-topped it and put it back in the oven to finish cooking. When I got home, I had half of a very overcooked pizza and half of a very undercooked top of an overcooked crust.
Not likely to return there in spite of the great reviews I see. Im surprised they let such a bad pizza go out. They should have started over.

very nice family run place, been there quite a few years. owner in kitchen and has his very pretty daughters at front counter. the say HI to folks walking in and greet regulars nicely.
ordered 3 cheese slices and a drink. ($11 + tip) pizza out in less than 5 mins. it was fresh and hot, tasted good. drink was filled at counter. tables and booths clean, restroom clean. will return for sure.

I love the food and the owner of the business is great. They also just got a perfect score on Arizona Families restaurant score card 11/13/25 which makes me like their food even more than I already did! If you like good food and friendly people give it a try!
