The waitstaff has always been friendly and super accommodating.
My biggest complaint is about the bathrooms- too small for the bars capacity- it’s an area that needs some serious upgrades.
We used to go to this place all the time. One of our favorite football spots. The wings were the big attraction but the rest of the food was always good too.
The place was sold and they changed the wing recipe and we stopped going. Recently I heard the had the old wings so we all went over. We were there about a month ago and I am just posting after going to a different wing place last night.
We sat out on the patio and had good service for drinks. The wing selection on the menu was strange so we asked the server for the old recipe. We got two double orders. Sorry to say not the same.
Most of the other food was OK, but the boardwalker came with a scant few slices of sausage.
We enjoyed cod fish tacos, black bean burger, and cheese steaks with fries.
The food was well cooked and very tasty.
Inevitably, people start to say hello. It brings me back to the old corner bars in Philly.
The specials on the menu are not to be missed.
Check this place out if you haven’t.
A warm and fuzzy trip not only to the past but moving to the future. Great staff!!!
Chris, Sean, Kate, Tim just to name a few. Say hello!!! A great operation by Lisa!
Thanks,
Billy from Philly
Edit: to this day I still love it here but I have learned to never order the desserts they have on their specials menus. They are consistently raw and undercooked.
