We ordered the Saag Chicken, Chicken Korma, and Garlic Naan and everything was delicious. This is my 4th Indian restaurant in Jax/St. Augustine and this is my favorite Chicken Korma–a salty version I haven’t had before. This was my first time trying Saag Chicken and there wasn’t a strong spinach flavor but a nice herby spicy curry. I’d get the same plates next time I come. Tuesday night was very quiet, just us and one other couple.

I just had to write a quick review because we are still talking about the food from our family gathering last weekend. We had about 25 people over and decided to cater from Taste of India, and honestly, they just knocked it out of the park.
I was a little nervous about catering, but the entire process was so easy. The food arrived exactly on time, which was a huge relief. The setup was totally professional—they brought everything needed to keep the food hot, and the person who delivered it was friendly and efficient.
But let’s talk about the food. It was fantastic.
We started with the samosas, which were a massive hit. They were perfectly crispy, not greasy at all. For the main meal, we got the Paneer Kurchan and Daal Fry. The Paneer Kurchan was incredible, with a really rich and flavorful gravy, and the daal was pure, delicious comfort food. We had plenty of Jeera Rice and soft Rotis to go with it, and everything tasted so fresh.
To finish, we had the Gulab Jamun, They were the perfect end to the meal.
Honestly, for the quality and sheer amount of food we got, the price was incredibly reasonable. We had happy guests, a full table and good memories.
I can’t recommend them enough. If you have an event coming up, seriously just call them. We will 100% be using them again.

Came here on Christmas day, around 8:30 PM. The place was quite full but the service was still very fast.
Ordered Daal tadka, Paneer Makhni, Naan and Gobi Manchurian. Loved Gobi Manchurian, crispy and tasty. Daal was well done too. Good food and drink options. The portions are generous.
The staff are polite and the owner kept checking on us frequently.

This is my favorite local spot for Indian food. The flavors are authentic, rich, and consistently excellent. Food quality is always top tier. The restaurant itself feels a bit dated and could use some renovation, and service is okay but not exceptional. Still, for the food alone, it’s absolutely worth visiting.

Positive reviews are on point. The coffee there is amazing. The serving size of the two lunches we ordered was generous, you won’t leave hungry and will likely have a to go box. As expected the quality, preparation and presentation is excellent. Friendly staff and we were provided great recommendations on what to order after we let her know what foods we liked. Even if you don’t know what to order you’re certain to find something you love.

Well if the food is not good what will u do with the service or atmosphere. It was a dine in on a Tuesday evening, we ordered that day special chicken Biriyani.
1. Chicken was doubly roasted as if it was re heated again an again.
2. Biriyani rice wasn’t juicy intact it was very dry
3. Egg inside the biriyani cold as if it was taken out straight from the refrigerator
4. The bowl which was used to serve rice was broken
I was never so disappointed with the food but no offence to the person servicing, she was good sweet

North Florida Tasting Room
Really enjoy this Indian restaurant. It’s such a hidden gem but gaining in popularity. Rhea gives the most amazing service.. always helping us figure out what we want and has learned our spice tolerance (I have none) and is most helpful when ordering new dishes for us to try. Last night was no different. Food quality and taste is extremely high.. so many choices but the lamb chops are my favorite! Reasonable pricing for sure. Ended the evening with a Mango Lassie.

I went here with my daughter for the lunch. The food was excellent. The gentleman recommend the naan special and it was great. The samosa was nice and crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. We both got the butter chicken by far the best I’ve had. The gentleman was nice to give us the background on the mural of the presidents on the wall. He was so sweet. It made the lunch extra special when the owners are so kind and warm. We’ve been here numerous times since it has opened and also get take out. I agree with some of the reviews that the food went down at one point but I can attest that it went way up. It was even better today than when it first opened. I highly recommend to give it a try if you haven’t before. If you’re one of the ones that thought it went downhill, go back because you’ll be happy you did.

We visited Taste of India in St. Augustine while on vacation. The staff was friendly and the food overall was good, though the Kadai Chicken didn’t feel authentic. Prices were lower than back home, which was a plus. Ambience was okay and customer service was decent. Overall, a good experience, nothing exceptional, but not bad either.
