I feel like ever since denton became this “tourist town” quality has just gone down everywhere and prices have gone way up and service is sub par. Why even go out? I could have gotten a bag of frozen fries, friend them in oil, bought ricos cheese, actually make palatable ranch and a fair amount of bacon crumbles and had a much better experience with more food for the same price.
I worked in food service for several years and was head chef at a few places and if I was serving these fries i just wouldnt feel proud.
The atmosphere is great. The service has always been good and I’ve always liked the food here. But i don’t think I’ll be back.
The same server has served us alcohol in the past but maybe she was too distracted with the boy she had following her around that night. We used to love it here and its sad to see that we can no longer drink here bc they dont have a way to authenticate real IDs from the fake ones.
We still got fries that were okay at best, would have been better with an ice cold beer from the local place, unfortunately had to take our business elsewhere which is unfortunate because the restaurant seemed to be in need of local support.
Point is, if youre from Oklahoma avoid this place. and management from loophole pls teach your employees what a real ID looks like, and train your servers to not talk dirty and point at the people still buying food regardless of the situation. We got our beers from DCBC.
It’s definitely an eclectic bar vibe ~ but us 4 old ladies weren’t uncomfortable at all.
Cienna, was familiar with the menu and all her recommendations were spot on.
Pretzels were hot, soft Yummy. The Jam & Goat Cheese Burger, So Good~ it’s like a homemade meaty burger with lots of Mayo and cheese.
The Margarita Pizza wasn’t the usual I have had- made with Pesto. The winner was the chicken parm pesto on a hoggie bun, plenty left over for seconds.
All in all it was a really fun and satisfying lunch experience.
Cienna was awesome!!
1/2 price Pizza on Thursday and 1/2 price Burgers on Wednesday.
We aren’t consumers of alcohol ~ but the bar was stocked and the signature names were funny.
At the loop hole, this was my precise experience. From the first bite, the burger was just eaten; it’s savored. The beef fresh, seared to juicy perfection, hinting at a blend of seasonings that elevate its natural flavor. The bun, a golden dome of soft yet sturdy delight, lightly toasted, a perfect platform for the richness that rests upon it.
The lettuce and tomato are garden-crisp, the onions caramelized to a sweet turn, and the special sauce, a secret blend, is a creamy, tangy, and utterly delicious enigma that binds all the components together. The cheese, melted to just the right consistency, blankets the patty in a layer of gooey goodness.
Each burger at the loophole is not just a meal but an experience, a culinary journey worth taking again and again. For these reasons, I award the loophole a well-deserved five stars. It stands as a beacon of burger brilliance, a testament to the craft of burger-making, and a must-visit destination for any true aficionado of this classic American dish.
The atmosphere was cool, with a good vibe, but things took a turn when we realized they were about to close. We understand it was late, and the staff might have been tired, but we were hopeful they could still take care of us with their best service. However, we waited for our food for over 45 minutes, and when it finally arrived, it was disappointingly cold. The meat wasn’t cooked properly, and there was an issue with it being undercooked. I prefer my meat well-done, but unfortunately, they didn’t inquire about the preferred level of doneness.
The overall experience left a lot to be desired, and the wait time combined with the temperature of the food was a letdown. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback into consideration to enhance the dining experience for future patrons.
