Grabbed a quick lunch. Prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes. Bread and sauce were really good. My chicken piccata was delicious.

Terrific fresh pasta! I only wish they offered a pesto sauce. I love their arancini too — not too heavy or fried.

On a cold December in Boston, all my family and I wanted were some good, authentic, Chicken Parm sandwiches. We came here and got exactly that. A great experience with great service. On top of the chicken parm, we ordered a meatball sub and chicken ziti pasta, both exquisite. I highly recommend coming here if you’re in the Cambridge/Harvard area.

Delicious Pasta resto in Cambridge. Should order the garlic bread with cheese which cost approximately $8.5 per portion. The pasta was also tasty, especially the chicken marsalla. The vegan pizza was also delicious.
The employees were kind and friendly. There were plenty tables for you to enjoy the food with ur friends & families. There was restroom for customers.

I’ve been coming here since 2016. Food is still great as always. Very authentic Italian staple nestled in a neighborhood in Cambridge. Chicken ziti broccoli, spaghetti and meatballs, cheese pizza, lasagna, and garlic cheese bread are always great choices. Highly recommend

Chicken Marsala. One of my fav Italian dishes. Now, I’ve had this tasty dish many times at different restaurants and the dish at BASTA PASTA was THE FREAKING BEST I’VE HAD! The dish had such great flavor that was very well balanced. If you do order it ask for extra sauce. Now, the garlic bread was damn good. It had the perfect amount of cheese. And the sauce it came with was exquisite. I mean look at that color. Like the tomatoes came straight off the vine from Italy. This food was so delicious that even the GODS would call it Ambrosia. I highly recommend this restaurant! .

By the taste of the food, there should have been way more people in the dining room on a Friday night. It’s a pretty big menu to pick from with a good amount of vegetarian options. We went with the squashed olive and stuffed eggplant, AMAZING! We walked right by this place, it looked like there were changing the outside. Also the dinning room was minimalist and a bit old. Great food!

Basta Pasta Restaurant in Boston was a spontaneous stop on the way after a long day of sightseeing in beautiful Boston. I saw the restaurant from the bus and spontaneously decided to eat here. Basta Pasta is rather small and specializes in order and pick-up, but there are still a few tables and the staff was friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the food and it tasted even better than it looks in the pictures. A definite recommendation!

Is this place under new management? It has gone way downhill. Way back, when they first opened, and the two brothers who were the founders and owners were always there it was great. Now it is just overpriced and barely mediocre. Recently had buffalo chicken strips. No breading like in the past. Hardly any sauce. Dry. Sucked. Used to be way better.

The pizza is delicious. The first time we had the pizza it looked huge, I wondered how we could finish it, turned out the dough was so thin and pizza so good we finished the whole thing. I used to live close by, but found this place too late to enjoy it enough. Last time I flew back, this was a must on my list!
Love this place!
