We had a nice dinner on the patio. Very good service and very friendly staff. Really trendy inside. Nice place. I was not really a fan of the kind of dry ribs. The sauces made it much better but there wasn’t much meat on them. It was busy so people must like them.

My husband took me to Barrel and Boar this evening and it was delicious. The service was great, staff very friendly. Sky our waitress was wonderful and had plenty of recommendations. I got ribs and my husband got Mac And cheese dinner. We had lovely drinks. The atmosphere was very relaxed and chill we sat out on the patio and enjoyed the busy streets.

This was my first time at Barrel and Boar. Ot happened to be my birthday as well. Our server, Sky, was excellent. Love the ambience. The manager was friendly and attentive. The place was clean. Love the decor. Love the smoke wings we had. I got an ice cream with brownies for my birthday. I had a great time here and will be returning.

My mom and I had dinner here tonight and it was both of our first times to eat here. We absolutely loved it!! The food was phenomenal, best greens and corn bread with the honey butter. We will definitely go again.

Emily was our waitress and she was great. Our order came out quickly, hot and fresh. Barrel & Boar has the best ribs hands down. Price wise we had 1 appetizer, 1 full rack of ribs with one extra side, brownie dessert (which was AMAZING) and 2 beers and it was $97.

However after our waitress went home in the middle of our home a 2nd one stepped up to the plate to make things right.
She apologized, had our orders remade to go. No excuses, just good service. And for this we will come again.

I was really excited to try this place and the atmosphere is nice along with decent customer service but the food was a huge let down. We ordered brussel sprouts for an appetizer and they were delicious BUT for the price you pay you only get about 5 brussel sprouts which you can find restaurants nearby that will give you twice as many for $2 less. I ordered their barrel burger and honestly I’ve eaten MRE’s on backpacking trips that have more flavor than this burger. The burger was supposed to have bleu cheese but it had tiny 3 crumbles, the bacon on top was the only thing with any flavor. Big disappointment for an $18 burger. Just save your money and go somewhere else.

We went here for dinner for the first time tonight and Jackie was our fabulous server in their relaxing and pleasant outdoor patio. The food and service was great! We had the ribs and Mac n cheese BBQ dinner and they were both delicious! The sweet tea and wine was amazing while enjoying the beautiful evening. We will be back. Thank you Barrel and Boar Canal Winchester for a wonderful evening.
