We absolutely love MSC! We started visiting them when they were on the square in Lockhart, and love that the current location is about 5min from the house. Obviously, we tend to eat the same meals, but we have purchased from the menu, come in for the buffets, and ordered turkey and ham for Thanksgiving the last two years. We usually go in when they open (10am) so that we don’t have to wait, but have also successfully used the reservation service for Mother’s Day. The food is hot, ingredients fresh, and staff is always very attentive.

I went here for a breakfast. I had Chilli cheese omlette with potato wedges. I really liked the food. I visited on a Sunday morning when many of the other restaurants where closed in Lockhart, hence this place was packed. There was a wait time of 15 minutes on average. Also their coff6was running out quickly so one had to wait for refills. Otherwise staffs were ki d and courteous. They have a clean washroom and ample of parking.

Returning from Austin we decided to try something off the main strip. Boy are we glad we did. Friendly greeting right away, clean, bright and comfortable, we liked the place immediately. We opted for three different sandwiches, sweet potato fries and an appetizer. First, the app was the GOAT, fried goat cheese in honey. Do not miss! Turkey Fig, New Jam and Pork Roast sandwiches, all excellent. Take the time to get off the strip, it’s well worth the 3 minute drive. I wish we had pics of the food, but we were famished. Just know, you have 3 new fans now.

Absolutely adorable cafe. The food was amazing my boyfriend and I cleaned our plates. And they had a PICKLE bar which I’ve never experienced but we had to try it. Everyone was so kind we will definitely be back.

OMG! Love this place! This is the way food should be. Simple ingredients done the right way. From the complimentary pickle bar loaded with pickles, beats, sourkraut, carrots, and more to the homemade sourdough bread, everything was on point. The Market Street Hash was fresh and delicious, the service was top notch… what more could you want in a restaurant. I will definitely be back to try more dishes and support this local business.

Editing to add that we’re here again and I don’t know why we’re surprised but every time we come we try something different and it is amazingly delicious. Really like high end, fine dining quality, artistic culinary arts type food! Incredible!!

WOW WOW WOW!!!!! Seriously, if you haven’t tried them- you should. The wait was WELL worth it (we came right after church so of course it was busy). The atmosphere is lovely, the people are fantastically friendly and welcoming, and the food is AMAZING. My 3yo, husband and myself had the best experience here. This place is FANTASTIC! I had the best sandwich I think I’ve ever had (the gonzo), my husband had a burger (the market street burger); even he couldn’t dominate, and my daughter drowned herself in the incredible strawberry waffle for kids. Super pleased we made the choice to eat here. Definitely going to be a place we come back to often!!!

I didn’t hate this place, but I won’t be back. I had no problem using the QR code menu—makes sense for a place that changes its menu often. BUT, it was an odd/eclectic menu with few “standard” lunch items. I struggled to find something on the menu that sounded good to me, and the sandwich I ordered wasn’t bad. The Gonzo was made with good French toast, turkey, provolone, sriracha mayo, and strawberry sauce—think a Monte Cristo without being battered and fried. Sadly, didn’t get the “house made dill pickles” on the side and I think they might have helped. The curly fries were good and my husband and I shared them. He didn’t finish his Market Street Burger, said it had a weird taste, but he couldn’t put his finger on just what was wrong. I think I know: I HATE Brussels sprouts and the whole place smelled strongly of Brussels sprouts. TBH, I almost turned around and walked out because it was so awful!
Advice: if you don’t like Brussels sprouts, don’t go.

This is another one of those places that would be easy to pass by bc of its location in a small strip center. The food is quite good. Not just the usual breakfast and lunch menu items. Everything has a little twist of the unusual. I had a Turkey Fig Sourdough sandwich that was delicious. The fries also delish. Also, they have a complimentary pickle bar with a wide variety of choices. While the atmosphere is somewhat lacking, the food and friendly service make up for that.

I absolutely loved this place! 5 stars all around. Will did a fabulous job making us feel welcome as well as offering suggestions. Our coffee cups never got less than half-empty. The food was AMAZING! I will be back for sure, and hopefully, it is on Sunday brunch because it sounds super promising!
