I’ve been a regular at the Wendy’s on Memorial Ave, but my latest experience has left me utterly disgusted. Ever since they brought over the manager from the now-closed Wendy’s at 2117 Wards Rd.—a location that shut down due to its abysmal management—the food quality has tanked. Today, I ordered fries and was horrified to find mold growing on them! Moldy fries are a health hazard, not to mention a sign of gross negligence. The service has been sloppy, and the food’s been subpar for months, but this crosses a line. I won’t be back until there’s a complete overhaul of management and hygiene standards. Avoid this place unless you want to risk your health!

Service wasnt great! Said they had no coin change. Our food came to $22.02 they wanted to give us two dollars back. So my bf went to the car to get 2¢ they wanted to keep 98¢ wow! Everyone who comes in that way for how long? Food was cold. Except chili. Wasn’t offered crackers or sauce with that. Didn’t get fries with one meal. Said they were cooking would bring them out. Never did. Poor service. Felt like was being cheated every way possible. Drinks were out in lobby except for about four flavors in each machine. They acted like serving customers wasn’t a priority.

Ok so I had to do this review. I’ve been to a lot of Wendy’s in my lifetime. I even worked there for a few years as a teen. I’ve had good and poor experiences but, NEVER in my life have I ever received an order as bad as this. The fries were cold/burnt and the chicken sandwich was so burnt I couldn’t tell it was chicken at first. You guys really need to start caring about the food you serve people. I had to throw my food out. I wouldn’t buy here again.

Don’t waste your time coming to this location. After waiting several minutes, they handed me a cold burger (cold to the touch cold). When I asked them to remake it, the lady responded “you wanted it fresh?” As if that should be a question. She told me there would be a wait, which is fine. Then sent someone out 30 seconds later with the same burger, only microwaved, with the tomato replaced and lettuce added.
Go to the location on Wards, or spend your time and money at McDonald’s.

I ordered a biggie bag and a classic chicken combo. I got home and realized I had not received my two drinks and also my fries were not fresh at all. They were already cold and burned! Granted they were busy as it was around 8:45 pm but when I called to report they didn’t even answer the phone. Very disappointed! Mainly why I rarely eat fast food these days.

Awful do not eat here. Floor was disgusting and employees looked at me like “what do you want?” Food was all over kitchen floor and was being stepped in. Burgers were stale and bread was crunchy. Gross… hope they get shut down

Ordered at the drive thru and the lady working the mic and window assumed I was done ordering and told me to pull up to the window. When i got there and tried to finish my order. I asked for their potato item and she said they didn’t have it and gave me some attitude. I parked, went inside and ordered it there and they suddenly produced more potatoes.

Lady at the drive through didnt take our whole order before telling us to pull around. When we got there we asked to add a potato, the lady never verbally responded, instead she just shook her head “no”. We asked if they had potatoes at all to which she just shook “no” again. When we thanked her for our food she paid no mind. We went inside and lo’ and behold, they did in fact have potatoes. We mentioned the attitude of the employee but we got no response. At no point did we make a scene or anything. We were polite and thanked them. But where is the baseline customer service? At least use your words. Why lie about your stock? Just so disappointing… :/

This is by far the worst Wendy’s in this town. I’ve gotten a correct order made a handful of times, most of the staff are rude, the speaker box at the drive through is so old that you basically have to yell to be heard. It’s a shame, because when they take the time to make the food right it’s pretty good.
