I went with my son earlier today. Parking sucks! You have to park in the street or in that nasty motel next door. Both front doors were locked. We had to wait a couple of minutes for them to come get the door. Food was dissappointing and overpriced. Small portions. The bread was raw/undercooked and super dense/heavy. That thing was easily over a pound! I showed the server, she took it back and said she was going to bring out another one. She never did. Octopus was super tough/chewy and slimy – the sauce was good. Calamari and chicken parm were ok.

Great food and cocktails! No where else in Manteca have I been able to find great cocktails and great food in one restaurant. I went there for my birthday lunch today. I had the best cioppino and lemoncello margarita. The owner also gave me a wonderfully creamy tiramisu cake slice for my birthday and an Italian shot to celebrate. Their customer service is amazing. My family loved their meals and I was jealous of my son’s ribeye steak. He gave me a bite and it was the most tender, perfectly seared and flavored steak with bleu cheese sauce. Their bread also has a great crunch on the outside and a soft, warm inside that is perfect for dipping in their garlic olive oil.

I ate at Bella Mangiata lastnight with some friends for the first time, the ambience in atmosphere is calm, sexy, and elegant! The serve was amazing, the servers are friendly and attentive. The food blew my mind, it was fresh and authentic and delicious! The chefs came to the table and talked with us the environment is extremely warm and welcoming! The wine choices are great as well, I highly recommend going with friends, family, or date night!

My husband and I finally got to visit this spot this past Friday. The ambiance was great, food was good and service was impeccable! We need more places like this in Manteca. We had the crispy calamari with marinara, Cioppino and the scallop special. Not a bad wait for no reservations.

I had such a wonderful dining experience at this new Italian restaurant! Everything from the service to the atmosphere was just right — warm, welcoming, and beautifully done. I ordered the Linguine Pescatore, and it was absolutely delicious! The seafood was fresh, the sauce was rich and perfectly balanced, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The wine pairing complemented every bite, and the tiramisu was the perfect sweet ending — light, creamy, and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be back soon!

It was my first time coming here and I’ve been looking for a decent authentic Italian restaurant and I would have to say that their food was very good. Unfortunately, the portions are not as big as I would prefer. But the flavor and the quality of the food was top. Notch definitely going back again.

I took my wife out for dinner on February 14 and spent about $172 for our meal. The evening started off well, and we were greeted warmly, but the experience quickly went downhill.
A couple seated after us received their food before we did, even though we had been waiting about 25 minutes longer. I commented on it to my wife and tried to brush it off, thinking maybe it was just timing. Unfortunately, we later found out that the food they were served was actually our order.
What made the situation worse was that after the mistake was discovered, the same food that had already been placed at another table was brought to us. We were essentially served food that had already been handled by another party. No fresh meal was offered, only a discount after I raised the issue.
At that price point, I don’t expect discounts. I expect the meal and service to be done correctly the first time. Throughout the rest of the evening, staff checked on and served other tables regularly while largely ignoring us, which made us feel like second-class guests. Despite the experience, we still left a $40 tip.
Overall, this was disappointing, especially for a special occasion. I hope the restaurant takes food handling and guest service more seriously in the future.
