I was in town for work. I wanted a good American cheeseburger with fries. I googled food places near me. Read a few reviews and this is what I chose. I must say my first time I will definitely be returning. I got the Bobcat burger with fries. Try the ff Cajun. The young lady that served me was awesome. When I first walked in, only one person in there . When I left , all of her tables were full . I highly suggest trying this place out. Check out my photos of that delicious burger and fries !

I got the Bobcat burger and a special type of spud. Swirl fries?! lol It was very good. Mom got the gumbo and thought very highly of it. She loved the house made sauce as well, that went with the pork skins. Everything tasted fresh. Even the mac and green beans were tasty!

The food was served piping hot. The owner actually came out and asked us how everything was and thanked us. No military discount, but perhaps in the future. The main accent wall has many interesting signs to entertain you while waiting (not long) for your food. We’ll definitely be back.

This was the absolute best restaurant!! Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. Our food was phenomenal. It was a very clean establishment with a feeling of home. I can’t express enough how great our waitress was. I’m so glad we chose to stop in and enjoy some good food and great service.

We were headed home to Texas from vacation and happened upon Southern Craft Kitchen. That was a lucky find! The service was fantastic and our server was super friendly. The seasoned fries were excellent as was the burger, full of flavor. We will definitely return the next time we go through Hope!

Roomy diner in downtown Hope. The service is fast and the food cooked excellently by the owner. Skip the the fast food places on the nearby main road and treat yourself to a fast, tasty meal. Prices are very reasonable. The diner is in a historical building setting, and nicely decorated families welcome here. This was the highlight stop of a recent trip from Texas to Tennessee and back. Parking is convenient.

This place has great food! It was pretty busy and only one person serving tables, but she was great. We got the appetizer sampler with fried pickles, jalapeno poppers, onion rings, and loaded fries, chicken sandwich, burger, chicken tenders, quesadilla, and fries. All of the food was good. No complaints at our table. We will definitely be back. This place will be a huge success with community support.

We pulled off the highway during a road trip to try this spot – highly recommend! We had the shrimp tacos (served with a homemade remoulade) and the gumbo (just right seasoning) and cleaned our plates! Music playing was lively but not too loud. Decor was “homey diner” with personal photos. Friendly waitress and the owner came out to check on us. We will visit again!

Decided to try this place while I was here for work since I hadn’t seen it before the other times I had been in town. Definitely was not disappointed. All the food was wonderfully flavored and fresh. The owner and our server were both very kind, helpful, and a pleasure to talk to. The fried pork chops I got with the mac n cheese and fried okra were exceptional. My coworkers and I had a great experience and highly recommend anyone passing by to stop and try it. Easy 5/5

This is a neat place. You should go. They bring out homemade pork rinds and house made ranch to start (their version of chips and salsa) and it was delicious! We ordered the appetizer sampler and my favorite part was the NOLA loaded fries. It also had onion rings, jalapeno poppers, and fried dill pickles. The best part was the house made Cajun ranch. That stuff is FIRE! The burger was really good too. A nice thick patty and seasoned fries. There is a cool homey atmosphere and polite attentive staff. We will be back!!
