Came in tonight at 7PM, wasn’t greeted until 15 minutes later by our server Hope. Restaurant had maybe 8 tables seated max, and service became less and less attentive as we approached closing time (9PM). Ordered the cold antipasto, absolutely delicious and massive per usual, hate what they did with the fresh mozzarella by cutting it into teeny tiny little pieces so that it looked like it might be a crumbled cheese, but I get that inflation is a thing. Not enough dressing which is absolutely delicious, but we could not find our sever to get more and to order another round of drinks as she spent most of the night near the server station gossiping and not being attentive toward us (her one table for most of our visit). Sadly the server assistant was more focused on patrons than their servers.
Eventually she came back around and we were able to order our main & skipped to a bottle of wine; we decided on the Voga Pino Grigio at $48/bottle sold by the distributor at about $7/bottle…I understand markup is going to happen but for a family restaurant in a local neighborhood at 6X is wild to me. Ordered the Stromboli and sadly it arrived to the table lukewarm. When I went to use the men’s room they kept dinging the bell in the kitchen for pickup and the other server asked our server Hope if she ordered Stromboli (heard from server station right outside restroom area), needless to say she just kept talking; after waiting several minutes for the sink to produce water in the bathroom I exited to arrive at the table to no Stromboli. A few minutes went by and our server finally delivered our dinner (10 mins after it was put up in the window). It was good, but the sauce and outside pieces weren’t hot.
At 8:15 they began cleaning the floors with something strong that resembled Fabuloso. As much as I love the smell of Fabuloso coming home after my housekeeper cleans my home; it is a very distracting and nauseating smell when you are trying to enjoy your meal. It was so overwhelming that I couldn’t eat any more as it was nauseating me. We packed half of our meal to-go and asked for the check. Our server was slow processing our check and we finished our wine to be out a few minutes after closing.
Overall, the food is BEYOND and had the service been equal I would have never batted an eyelid at the price of the wine or anything else. Sadly, this visit left a lot to be desired and embarrassed me that I brought my friend after hyping it up. I love supporting local, but Hope just doesn’t have what it takes to be a server as she just barely went through the motions.
The staff’s attention was excellent, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The restaurant is a little small, but that didn’t negatively impact the experience. The timing and service were all five-star.
My only problem was with the ravioli. Seriously, five ravioli? A giant plate with five tiny ravioli in the center with some sauce and cheese is not what I expected. I’ve had ravioli in several places and that might work as an appetizer, but it’s not acceptable as a main course. It’s a shame because everything else was perfect. The pasta was al dente, the texture and flavor of the filling were perfect, and the sauce was delicious. But the quantity was unacceptable. We’re talking about pasta and cheese, not meats or other expensive ingredients. Five ravioli just feels like pure stinginess and nothing more.
Other than that, the lasagna was very flavorful, and the salad my husband and I shared was okay. The bread they gave us was also delicious.
As a first experience, the issue with the quantity was unfortunate. We might have given it another chance, but in Las Vegas, there are places with better pasta and better prices.
Still, we wish the restaurant and its staff much success.

Back again for the take out special. Always a great deal
Service from the bartender was quick and efficient although she was quite loud and kept interrupting at the oddest times. Usually, a patron would waive to the bartender to get their attention but she kept barging in. Even while eating or resting between bites she would ask to take my plate away. Lastly, the attire of the bartender- a faded grey gym tshirt and faded baggy jogging pants- wasn’t as professional or befitting of the atmosphere of such a nice establishment. It looked as if she rolled out of bed.
Either way I enjoyed my experience and would recommend to a friend.
Great welcoming atmosphere. Glad we stopped in.
We will definitely go back.
