The Bighorn combines the elegance of a winery tasting room with the comforts of mountainous Montana. We offer a large and diverse selection of fine wine and craft beer from around the world that is available for sale in the retail section, as well as behind the bar. Join us for lunch or dinner and order something to eat from our small bites menu. Our specially curated menu rotates regularly and we feature wine, beer, and food from around the world. We also offer ongoing events that include tap takeovers, wine flight nights, live music, wine classes, cooking classes, multi-course dinners featuring acclaimed chefs, guest appearances from breweries and winemakers, free sample Saturdays, and much more.

The Bighorn Bottle Shop & Wine Bar in Anaconda, MT is the coolest spot in town for booze with personality. Tucked in a gorgeous 140-year-old brick building on Main Street, it feels like a fancy wine tasting room crash-landed in Montana—elegant but zero pretension.
Killer selection of wines (owner Vanessa knows her stuff), craft beers, and hard-to-find bottles. You can grab and go or stay for flights, small plates, and that warm, welcoming vibe where strangers become buddies fast.
It’s cozy, classy, and turns any random errand into a mini celebration. If you’re in Anaconda and want great drinks without the boring liquor-store energy, this is your spot. 5 stars, highly recommend—cheers!

We had a great experience today at The Bighorn Bottle shop and Wine bar in Anaconda. From the second you walk in you can feel the level of professionalism as well as comfort. It’s BEAUTIFUL but also very welcoming and inviting. I told Vanessa what wines I typically tend to go to and she has SO much knowledge and walked me through some great AFFORDABLE choices. We left there with a great bottle of Pinot and my husband was so excited to try some new beers as well. Vanessa is the real deal. She is passionate and knows exactly what she is serving her customers and by experience, she will only serve the best (and affordable). A phenomenal local business to support and embrace. You won’t be sad you did.

This is such a great place. The Bighorn stands out as a low key wine bar with friendly, knowledgeable staff, a warm inviting atmosphere, reasonable prices, and a great selection of beer and wine there’s; nothing not to like.
