Homakase is amazing! An excellent dining experience and some of the best sushi and hand rollls in the city! The staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very clean. Every plate that came out was amazing! Have no idea what we got but enjoyed it all! Must try if you love sushi!

Holy cow I was so excited to try this place. It was beyond any expectations we had. Terry was our waitress and she was so great with helping us pic items that accommodated my husbands gluten allergy. Every roll that came out was better than the previous one. The best one was the Hamachi was the best one! Cant recommend this place enough. Service was top notch. Sit at the bar, for sure.

BR finally has a great handroll spot in Homakase. Bryan was a great and attentive server. Handrolls were unique and had great flavors. Favorite was definitely the yellowtail, with the bluefin Tuna coming second. Would most definitely come back next time I’m in BR area.

They have the best simple sushi you can find in Baton Rouge. They focus on quality ingredients with well balanced rolls that elevate the unique tastes of their fish choices. Their one page menu is all about flavor instead of presentation. Everything from the appetizers to the rolls sits in the $6 – $10 range so you can grab a quick bite of 2 to 3 items without breaking the bank. Definitely worth the try if you need a good lunch stop in the area.

If I could recommend any dish here I would have to go with the tuna tataki and the bluefin tuna roll. i was honestly a bit disappointed by both the salmon options and the snow crab was not super flavorful. however the tuna here really hits the mark and it was delicious. the vibe was different and it felt a little awkward at times especially with the edm music on the tv, but it was a cool new experience. the service was not the best, we kept having to move dirty plates around and it’s difficult to do so when there are strangers sitting next to you. i look forward to seeing any changes they make and overall enjoyed my experience!

If you like fresh flavorful sushi you will love this place. The hand rolls here are superb. TORO and the Blue crab are a must try. I also had the pot stickers and they were great too. My new favorite sushi spot! The snack mix that you get when you wait is soooo good and a nice touch when you go in super hungry! I ate everything so quick I didn’t even get pictures!
