Coast and Main is the top restaurant to go to for special occasions that demand special memories combined with excellent home made food and exceptional service.
All the food is wonderful. The 12 oz Filet Mignon medium rare is particularly tasty and the Asparagus and Green beans are well prepared and are of shareable proportions.
I also have to call out Kelly who is the highest quality server my family and I have had at ANY restaurant. Her cheerful attitude, willingness to engage in banter and overall demeanor makes you feel like you are their one and only special guest every time you visit.
She is the best and who we always request when making reservations.
In conclusion Coast and Main is doing everything right and I am happy to patronize this locally owned upper class establishment for both regular dinners and special occasions.

If there were a 10-star option, Coast and Main would absolutely get it. My son had his 17th birthday here last year and loved it so much that he specifically asked to come back for his 18th, so we brought our whole Gator family to celebrate. I originally booked for 13 people and ended up with about 30, and the staff handled every single change flawlessly.
The birthday boy and his friends didn’t arrive until after 9:00 PM because of a basketball game, with the restaurant closing at 9:30, yet we were never rushed once. They stayed patient, attentive, and genuinely kind the entire time, even as we celebrated well past closing. The food was excellent, the service was top tier, and the energy from the team was phenomenal.
What made the night truly unforgettable were the personal touches. They put my son’s name on the menu and even included a congratulations message for our Gateway Gators football accomplishments, which meant so much to us. Every detail felt thoughtful and intentional, and they made a special night feel extraordinary.
I highly highly highly recommend Coast and Main for events, parties, or any celebration. They were beyond amazing and absolutely spectacular for me and my Gator family.

Our server was attentive, are food arrived in a timely fashion and the food was tasty.

Food was good. VERY expensive. Greeters have the personalities of baked potatoes. Without the butter and sour cream. Server Jeff was great. Checked on us just the right amount of times. Had great recommendations. Drinks are phenomenal.

Came here for restaurant week in Pittsburgh. Food was really good and the atmosphere was welcoming! I LOVED the Chicken Milanaise smothered in that creamy parmesan sauce and the seasonal cocktails were really good, I love a good mojito and spicy marg with tajin around the rim! It started to pick up and get busy but our server made sure to always check in and keep us informed about the status of our drinks and food! I hear the talks about their brunch so I will definitely be coming back to experience that!

VERY OVERPRICED! VERY OVERRATED! Food wasn’t as good as I expected. I asked for the bigger table directly next to us. The greeter said this was the only table available. Whole time we the bigger table was empty. The velvet seats had animal hair all over them. I ask for my steak to be medium well…. It was medium rare on my plate. Customer service was bland. I had better at Chili’s.

I had been to this restaurant twice before with no issues, so I felt comfortable bringing my sister here to celebrate her birthday. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete disappointment.
I initially ordered the salmon, which was completely tasteless not even basic salt and pepper. I sent it back and opted for the fish and chips instead, only to be let down again. The dish was extremely low quality and tasted like something straight out of a frozen food box.
The service only made things worse. Our waiter lacked professionalism throughout the meal and became noticeably chippy at times. To top it off, after paying, I didn’t receive my card back. When I brought it to his attention, he responded with visible frustration, dropped a few curse words, and only then located my card.
As of December 27, 2025, prices at this establishment have clearly skyrocketed, but the food quality and service have gone downhill. Paying more while receiving less is unacceptable, especially when you’re trying to celebrate a special occasion. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Me and my fiancé came to Coast of Maine for the first time and the service was a 10. Julie was so friendly. The restaurant closes at 9 but they do let you still make a reservation at 9 pm. She didn’t act like “it’s the end of the night and she wants to go home.” Her energy was as if she just started her shift. She went over the menu with us and I could tell she really was suggesting good meals by the fluctuations in prices. Some waitresses will just suggest the meals with the highest price. She really went over some of the clients top meals and when I received my food I was not disappointed.
