I recently paid a visit to Spencer Dairy Queen, a well-known spot for a quick bite and a sweet treat. The experience, however, was a mix of satisfaction and disappointment.
Right off the bat, I’d like to commend the team at Spencer Dairy Queen for their prompt service and friendly demeanor. In a time when customer service can be hit or miss, it was refreshing to be served by a staff that was not only efficient but also warm and welcoming.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Blizzard. It was every bit as delectable as I’d hoped it would be, brimming with flavor and the perfect antidote for a hot day. It’s clear that when it comes to their signature desserts, Dairy Queen certainly knows how to deliver.
Unfortunately, the positive aspects of my visit were overshadowed by a rather unsettling observation. I noticed mouse droppings and dead insects lying in the window sills of the dining area. This immediately raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and hygiene standards of the establishment. It’s hard to fully enjoy a meal when you’re met with such a sight, and it did make me question what I might unknowingly be consuming in that otherwise delicious Blizzard.
While I understand that maintaining a spotless environment can be challenging, especially in a food service venue, it is nonetheless vital for ensuring the health and safety of customers. I sincerely hope that Spencer Dairy Queen takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements.
In conclusion, while the service and food were commendable, the hygiene issue severely impacted my overall experience. I can only hope that this was an isolated incident and that the management will take immediate steps to rectify this situation. If they do, I would be more than willing to give them another shot. Until then, I’d be hesitant to return or recommend this Dairy Queen to others.

I Got my $7 dollar meal deal in drive through, 3 vehicles and it went pretty smooth and fast, food was good and i got it exactly how i asked for it good job

Overall fine… I asked for no ketchup or pickle on my deluxe bacon cheeseburger today around 2 pm. Got down the road and the only thing on my sandwich was ketchup . I ate it but wasn’t too happy about it. It was a fresh hot sandwich. Hot onion rings. Nice staff.

Literally only got 1 thing on my 36 dollar order and it was underdone and underwhelming. I did not get the burger I ordered. Then I ordered a strawberry cheese quake blizzard and added extra cheesecake bites because the last 3 times there was not a single piece. They put 4 pieces of cheesecake in the entire large blizzard. Im super disappointed. I am so very used to this dairy queen letting me down I dont know why I bother going at all.

we have went to this DQ more since the remodel than we used to. personally I think the food is better ( i love the chili cheese dog exclusively but the wife switches it up a lot )
the hot fudge milkshake is a favorite of mine and the reeses blizzards always satisfy. at first things were a little rough but good management and willing employees made the transition bearable and smooth, would strongly recommend

They have ice cream sandwiches again but still dont have butterscotch cone dip. i wish they would get it, but they do have butterscotch dilly bars. It has a nice fresh look and they got a nice paint job. If they kept one thing from the old look, i would want them to bring the lamps back. It feels cleaner, looks more clean, and the employees are nice and they have gloves in the kitchen when they make food as well without having customers ask them to.

food was fine and exactly what you would expect from a dairy queen. they recently renovated and sadly I think killed all the charm in this place. it used to have a very rustic feel.
