Interesting, that a seafood place runs specials on chicken, not seafood. Spicey should mean flavorful, but here it’s just heat with no flavor. Jalapeño poppers are deep fried shredded potatoes with slivers of Jalapeño and a tasteless hot mayo sauce. Spicey chicken sandwich is drenched in BBQ sauce and mayo. They charge 16 cents for the cup if you ask for water. In my opinion the prices are outrageous, $13. For one piece f fish and 3 shrimp, or $17 for a combo consisting of one piece of fish, once piece of clam and one shrimp??? Includes fries and slaw, but No thanks. If I pay that much it isn’t going to be fast food.
The staff is friendly, but honestly the food is not. We don’t feel the need to try this place again. Good luck if you do.

The food was ok. The cod was tough. The shrimp was pretty good. It did not seem like it was made fresh but instead was bulk freezer food.

OMG!(*＾▽＾*) THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD!! INCLUDING THE GLUTEN-FREE OPTIONS! I went here with my mom and she was going to get fries and a drink until she saw there was a Gluten-Free menu, she gasped so loud lol. Not to mention the ranch with the fries are so good! My mom had the 2pc Cod and I had a Shimp Po’ Boy. And the waffle fries we SO good and crispy! (Better than any other I have tried) The vibe of the place was so cool! Not to mention the beautiful stained glass pieces.⛵️

We stopped in for an early dinner. The staff was so nice. My husband orders the cod with shrimp and clams. I ordered the cod with 3 shrimp. The coleslaw was delicious. The fish was very good, and the shrimp had a great coating. We orders ablavkberry turnover. I was so full, so I didn’t order the funnel fries. I will get those next time. They had clam chowder in a bread bowl. They have a great selection of food and a kids menu. We like that they offer a military discount. When we were leaving, they asked if we wanted to refill our drinks. We can’t wait to go back.

I have been a fan of this restaurant for over 20 years. When you walk in, you will not be overwhelmed with decor or ambience, but what you were going to find is amazing seafood at a reasonable price.
This is my first time eating here, since I moved away 10 years ago, and I was delighted to find that, despite new ownership, the food was as good as I remembered. I have traveled all over the country, and their clam chowder is probably the best I have ever had . If you were planning to eat here, I would suggest highly that you add the clam chowder to your order. You will not regret it. I ordered the two piece cod and it came with fries and coleslaw. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our table was clean and staff was quite friendly and helpful! They had made a mistake with one of our orders, and provided us with their dessert turnovers to even everything out and they are the only place that is still making turnovers in the deep fat fryer. I had the BlackBerry, which was delicious and everyone else had the Apple, and they said they were also quite amazing. They said they taste like the apple turnovers used to taste at McDonald’s before they decided to be healthy lol!
If you find yourself in Idaho Falls, I highly recommend that you make The Gang Plank one of your lunch or dinner stops. You won’t regret it!

We really enjoyed their fish and chips with waffle cut fries. Their bread bowl with chowder was also a great choice. The crushed ice with their Dr Pepper was really great!!! Thanks for the great seafood in Idaho Falls.

I am sitting in the booth next to the kitchen just fuming why am I so mad you may ask. I have driven past this gem of a resturaunt for years the food is so amazing me and my buddy couldnt help but smile with joy as we eat and talk about hpw mad we are at not trying this place before we will both be grabbing a pint of chowder before we leave

We waited for 30 mins for our food.. the people behind us received their dinner first .. got the chicken an 3 shrimp with super cold fries.. went bk to let them know they were cold an they still gave me cold fries bk like really.. wow..!! .. at least the shrimp was good..!!! This is nothing close to skipper’s!! Wish that seafood place was still open! Lots of cold fries did I say that already!! Oh yes coleslaw was cold an crisp! For such a small menu you would think everything should be fresh!
