An absolute must stop if you love authentic Mexican food! We were chatting with the owner, and he mentioned that all of the recipes were his grandmas. We got the steak al albañil and it was superb! The owner and the service was also fantastic. Such a gem of a restaurant!

Clean and cozy place to get your feedbag on. Excellent value for the daily specials. A drink and burrito with all the trimmings was only $7.95. I needed it to go and it was fast. Food quality was good and the service was outstanding. Clean restrooms and interesting decor. A little off the beaten path but well worth the drive.

ordered the #3 my Wife order the chicken fajitas. Definitely plenty of food for both of us. Also reasonably priced. They also have a salsa bar with several types of salsa and avocada sauce. Next time I’ll try the Chili Verde. Restaurant it’s small seems like it’s a man paw shot people are very friendly. Definitely give it a shot!

Great food! Salsa bar is a cool feature, and I loved the veggie options. I ordered the veggie burrito combo meal and the portions were big! I loved that the veggie option was loaded with a big variety of veggies. That’s a huge bonus for me! My son ordered the quesadilla and a side of beans and rice and all the food we got was delicious!

Family owned authentic Mexican restaurant in downtown Ogden area. Food was very good and portions are good sized. Owner /chef came out to check and see if we liked the food. This is a new location for the restaurants as it was previously in North Ogden. Must have been good there as there was a couple that used to go to that location and had followed them to the new location.

Food was fantastic and the pineapple in the #4 special(pork tacos) was a welcome surprise! Would eat here again as the prices are very reasonable given the generous portion sizes.
I also appreciated the melted cheese on the beans. They did one of my favorite things, which is that it isnt just shredded cheese thrown on with no thought. It was a good white cheese with just the right amount of heat to melt it and give the top layer just the tiniest brase. So good!
Service was quick, and the manager even came out after the food was delivered to make sure it was all good. That says a lot for a small place like this.
This would be a good place to come back to as ita tastes are just a little bit different than Bella’s are Javier’s breaking up the monotony of those establishments as a staple.
Finally, after finishing the meal, my stomach wasn’t immediately running away from me. Just happily satisfied with good food! I love when you dont feel over stuffed, or bloated when a meal is over. I would recommend this place for a good bite to eat

This place is authentic! They have a great lunch special that comes with a fountain drink for just $9.95. I’ve come a couple times now and haven’t been disappointed once. Give their salsa bar a try, lots of different salsas that are amazing!
