this is what i got with my mobile order last night. it also was not busy at all, there was only one car in front of me so they definitely had time to make it correctly. aside from the raw chicken, they didn’t even make my modifications to the toppings correctly.

This Wendy’s on 528 in Rio Rancho is a masterclass in how to fail at a job specifically designed to be impossible to mess up.

Fast food is not complex. The menu is fixed. The process is scripted. The bar is on the floor. And yet, every visit feels like an experiment in how many basic steps can be skipped, misunderstood, or outright ignored in one transaction.

Orders are wrong with impressive consistency, simple requests are treated like abstract philosophy, and the overall operation moves with the urgency of a paused loading screen. No apology, no accountability—just blank stares and confusion where competence should be.

This isn’t a one-off bad experience. It’s a pattern. A dependable, repeatable pattern of mediocrity so strong it almost feels intentional. Other Wendy’s manage to function. This one simply exists.

If you’re craving disappointment served lukewarm with a side of indifference, you’ve found the right place. Everyone else should keep driving.

I would give zero stars if I could. I tried to order after walking into the restaurant and stood at the counter for several minutes while workers walked past the counter and what appeared to be a manger seemed like she was walking up to help me, however she continued to walk past me. Keep in mind this manager or what seemed to be a manager looked right at me and walked away.
I’ve had horrible service at many Wendy’s and because I was getting my oil changed next door I thought I would give them another try, well…….I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER WENDYS IN MY LIFETIME AFTER THIS!!!!’

I always have a great experience here. I pass about two other Wendy’s to get to this one. They always have what is on the menu like baked potatoes! The others don’t serve them. I always see seniors eating their chili and baked potatoes, its a shame the other Wendys never have them available. The workers here are always kind!

The employees are nice, but the service is so incredibly slow, and pretty poor! Every time I go there, even when I order ahead online, they always have me pull out of the drive-thru line and wait for them to bring my order out- which takes another 5 to 10 minutes, and half of the time they forget part of my order, so then I have to go back through the drive-thru line, wait, etc. etc. This is the only location that is like this, and it’s a bummer!

The place wasn’t busy yet, but the employees were busy doing their stuff for the drive up. My server was really nice and gracious. Place was clean which is nice.
The food was delicious as usual. Fries crispy. Chicken nuggets crispy but moist. This place is really great.

Ordered a Dave’s double combo. When I returned home to eat the burger was undercooked. Was told I needed to bring in the sandwich for a replacement. They gave me a Dave’s single and it was still undercooked. Wasted gas and money. Will not be returning.

HORRIBLE. I was here the other night and this Wendy’s is completely out of it. I feel so sorry for all of the kids being controlled by the manager, Sanjuana. She does not deserve the position she has. She is rude, yells at customers and seems to never be satisfied. Constantly yelling at employees as well. A young lady asked for help and all the manager did is yelled and groaned the whole time. I was overcharged on a frosty because their manager didn’t want to help. Never coming back again. Get better management!

Hard headed and rude customer service. I understand it’s fast food so I’m not expecting the red carpet treatment, but they do not listen, always get the order wrong with the smallest of orders, and are extremely rude. Do better, this is a busy Wendy’s. Smh.

It’s 2025 and we still can’t get an order right. I ordered in the drive-thru and was only given half of what I ordered. Had to park and go inside to get what was missing. Got home and it was the wrong meal. It’s really not hard to read a screen and put the correct food in a bag.
