Our first visit in quite a while …. we’re sorry we waited so long to come back. The setting, service, and food were exceptionally good. The food is excellent and, in my opinion, this Nieman’s restaurant is superior to another one of our favorites, the Mermaid Bar at NorthPark. A very bright welcoming restaurant with superior service and delicious entrees, salads, and desserts. Oh and awesome iced tea. Looking forward to our next visit!

What a great gem on the 3rd floor at Neiman Marcus. The popovers are so fresh and good! The salads awesome and it has top notch staff. Was a great place for lunch.

Overpriced & not worth the $. Service, though nice, was incredibly slow & basically non existent. Multiple tables waiting to be addressed, orders taken or waiting for the check. For a 25.00 basic club sandwich…I will go elsewhere.

Highly recommend Mariposa as it’s consistently great – each and every time we dine there. Food, staff and ambience … all on point and fantastic. Love being welcomed by a delicious popover and chicken broth. It’s especially festive with gorgeous decorations during the holidays.

Mariposa Restaurant at Neiman Marcus in Willow Bend, in Plano, TX has not lost its touch. After many years in operation, it is still a wonderful and inviting place for lunch. I had not been there for some time.
We were glad to see that the setting is still inviting and we also enjoyed the traditional and complimentary chicken broth served in a demi-tasse along with their famous brioche popover bread served with strawberry butter. The fish tacos were a hit along with other items on the menu. The food remains delicious and service excellent, while the famous store and restaurant however, were sadly lacking shoppers and customer foot traffic.

Fabulous! I used to go here for lunch 10 years ago and I just had lunch and it was 5 stars the same as I remember.
I had read other reviews but I must say my lunch was divine ordered the special prime rib dip, broth to take home, the popover was as good and everything I saw comng out of the kitchen looked amazing. I will be back soon. The service by Bryan was superb I gave him a 35% tip. My guest also loved it. I wish they delivered sometimes I can’t leave my home.
Also, oreder the italian cream cake and the chocolate cake to go plus the cobb salad. You know the store as also nicer than expected I know it could never be the same but it is not as bad as it was described in other negative reviews.

We have been going to Mariposa every week for years. ALWAYS requested Ariana! The best and fastest waitress we ever had.
She had a disagreement with staff and left. It’s a 3 ring circus now trying to make up for her excellent service.
