Have to order the Rocky Mountain Oysters. Even the kids liked them. Burgers were fresh and seasoned well. Good fries. Philly steak was great. Service was very friendly. Definitely a place to stop and will be back.

I was planning on fasting all 3 days of my trip to bring my truck back from Seattle to Illinois but said if they had Rocky Mountain Oysters at my last stop I would break it ar 46 hours…. Jake’s was about 30 mins from Mitchell, SD where I was staying so 2 day fast it is lol.
Very small town and very local bar with great locals sitting and chatting. Had a nice conversation about the trip and the oysters.
I got an order of Mountain Oysters and Chislic. Both were excellent and the oysters were the best I have had. Went perfect with the beer I had, a Michelob Amberbock….who knew it was even around anymore?!
Absolutely would stop here again for the Mountain Oysters alone!

Nice local pub/bar and restaurant. Nice people and the broasted chicken was amazing. It was a low oil version of fried chicken, super juicy and delicious.
