Great food. A real nice and cozy place. Not a big restaurant it’s a small place with limited seating. The food is Mexican and Salvadorian. When you walk in you sit yourself waitress will bring you a menu. The food is great and well seasoned. I had the onion steak with red beans and Spanish rice. Can not complain. Home made tortillas come with your order. Also had a bananas shake. Very tasty.
The prices are between $10-20.
Highly recommend for any in the mood for spanish food. I give it 8.5 / 10.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very calm. I ordered 2 pupusas, one loroco and one chicharrón, I also ordered an horchata to drink and for dessert empanadas, that had custard filling. It was cold outside so it wasn’t full.

El Cuscatleco restaurant is known for its authentic Salvadoran cuisine, its friendly service, and its reasonable prices

The menu features a wide variety of Salvadoran dishes, including pupusas, tamales, yuca frita, and more.

The food was good. The dishes are flavorful and well prepared. The portions are also generous, so you are sure to leave full. I had mondongo.

Overall, El Cuscatleco is a great place to go for authentic Salvadoran food and friendly service. The food is consistently good, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend El Cuscatleco to anyone looking for a good Salvadoran restaurant.

Friendly staff, quick service, and really good lunch. The papusas (not pictured) were definitely a favorite. The chicken and cheese just melted in your mouth. Meats were tender and juicy. The music was upbeat and lively. Definitely deserves the five stars for good food and good customer service.

This restaurant is a Mexican and Salvadorian blend.

The food: I had the shrimp, chicken, and steak plate with side a salad, rice, and bean. The rice was filling. It was fluffy, thick, and flavorful. The beans were whipped and slightly spicy. I also ordered the pork chops smoothed in onions tomatoes and peppers. It was on the Salvadorian side of the menu. The handmade tortilla was delicious.

Chips, salsa, cheese dip. Name a better trio.!!!

The service: Pick a seat, and the server will come to you. She was bilingual, pleasant, and super helpful with a menu. The orders were correct, hot, and timely.

The atmosphere: booths and tables are available. It was a small, downhome feel. Thr arr work related mexican and Salvadorian pieces.

Great Mexican/Salvadorian food!!
Excellent portions, good value, quality ingredients. We love coming here for the fajitas mixtas which has chicken, beef and shrimp plus onions and bell peppers.
Their beans are delish, and the Salvadorian tortillas, which are handmade and thicker than your usual ones is always soft and comforting.
The place is certainly not fancy, but the food is always on point, with a friendly service. A hidden gem for good eats!

My friends recently introduced me to this popular ‘pupusa’ location in Cary. What can I say? I love it! Indeed, they offer irresistible pupusa, your choice of cheese with chicken, pork, loroco or beans. Their coctel de camarón was pretty good as well as their shredded chicken and beaf fried taquitos. There was a pleasant friendly environment- nothing crazy on a Saturday morning!
