We came here on a Wednesday night to try out the lobster which was a little disappointing. In fact, all the food we’ve ordered and tried was mediocre Italian food. The service was okay, however, our server seemed a bit inexperienced. One comes to this restaurant for the atmosphere, that is what attracted us as well. Its location is mesmerizing and both the indoors and outdoors are perfectly set.

Some time ago, someone recommended this restaurant to me, but I hadn’t been able to visit. This week, I finally did, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dinning experiences I’ve ever had.
I wasn’t sure what to order, but the waitress, Valentina, gave me the best recommendations. She was very professional, and I loved that. I also met the bartender, Rodrigo—I let him prepare his favorites for me, and I really enjoyed them. All the cocktails were amazing.
The food was wonderful; it had been a long time since I enjoyed a meal as much as I did this one.
I’ll definitely tell my friends about it, and without a doubt, I’ll be back soon!
Thank you so much.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vivo Bayside Restaurant and Catering, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and the catering staff was excellent.
The room had plenty of natural and artificial lighting, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious area and the brunch-type buffet food were a real treat.
The restaurant has indoor dining areas on two floors, event spaces, and a gorgeous outdoor area with a gazebo perfect for wedding ceremonies and outdoor dining. There are also two big parking lots, so finding a parking spot was not an issue.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

It is a joy for cooking lovers, where the quality of the ingredients and the authenticity of the flavours combine perfectly. Ideal for a romantic dinner or a meeting with friends. I was served by the waitress Valetina, a very kind and respectful person, who gave us the best recommendations and her service was very good.

Visited this establishment last Saturday for a coed bridal shower. Food was very good and the Bar was exceptional unfortunately their air conditioner was not in the room we were in so it was very hot and uncomfortable.

First time we visited Vivo. Our waitress did an amazing job. We choose to be at the patio area felt we had a private party.
The appetizer arrived fast, and just right on time the entrees. Swordfish with squash and brussels sprouts excellent entree (sprouts can be a bit more cooked) I will order again with the extra lemon sauce.
Chicken parmesan I tried the spaghetti with the sauce loved the natural flavors! Burrata was a great appetizer but I will skip the calamari next time (for me was chewy) but the fried banana peppers so good!!
The place is rice inside and outside service was perfect, parking easy. Definitely come back another day.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant literally for years but just never got there for some reason! Coming back from antique shopping upstate to Long Island, we made a stop at Vivo’s! We had no idea what this place would be like but wow what a pleasant surprise! First of all the entire staff were absolutely sweet, helpful and attentive. The decor is beautiful, part of the building was once the home of the famous silent film actor Rudolph Valentino. The food was excellent and im picky so really really good The fried Calamari was cooked perfectly. The burrata was great. The porkchop was delicious. Def worth the trip and already thinking when we can go back! Also even though rt off Cross island Pkwy they have plenty of parking. Highly recommend

My wife & I went there for Valentine’s Day 2/14/25. We had their set menu, just like everyone else. In particular, we had crab cakes and oysters as 1st course. The former is much better than the latter as the latter has no transformation because it’s just shucked oysters shell. I had the crispy skin branzino & my wife the game hen. Both were excellent. There’s lots of flavor to the hen. There’s a nice savory glaze on the skin. The branzino was completely boneless, which was nice. For dessert, we got 4 items: strawberry creme brulee, chocolate pudding in a pot, 4 cubes of pastry with icing over them & 2 macarons in a box. The creme brulee was more like flan than creme brulee. Nevertheless, it was decent enough. The dinner came with 2 flutes of pink champagne. Luckily for me, I didn’t order a drink before dinner. My wife got a glass of muscato. For some reason, the service was like molasses in January. We were there slightly after 5:30 but left the place at 8pm.

This is a very cozy and romantic restaurant. I’ve read that this place was Rudy Valentino’s old home mansion. The inside was very impressive with its decor. I’m very impressed with the whole place. The service could use a lot of work. Our dinner order was never put in because our server thought I was waiting to finish my appetizer. Our cocktails were not done properly as we ordered “Dirty Martinis” and we just got plain ones. It was corrected when the floor manager noticed we were not drinking them. The food looked great and I will try this restaurant again to see if the service has improved

Came here to celebrate my mom’s birthday and she loves the food. The ambiance was nice and the live band at around 7:30 was also very nice. Food was great. Everything was flavorful, service was great. We will definitely come back again.
