I was upcharged on a “Free” happy meal reward. The cashier verbally told me it was because I got “extra fries”, yet other McDonalds do not upcharge when the apple slices are swapped for an extra baby fry. Then I found the receipt, and saw the upcharge was actually for the soda…which *I* had to fill at the fountain. Again, this is not something that happens at any of my local McDonald’s.
I am not local to the area, just passing through on my way to visit a family member in the hospital. I was already stressed and literally had no cash on me. I was redeeming the reward for my son and did not eat myself.

The McCrispy Strips were wet and floppy – nothing about these sad little wads suggested the idea of “crispy.” One of them had a texture like cords of tough rubber- it was so unlike food I had to spit it out in the parking lot. The fries were cold, stiff, and left a pasty residue on the roof of my mouth. The workers looked like they would rather be anywhere else..
I used to treat myself to McDonald’s every once in a while – back when it used to actually be a treat, when crispy meant crispy, when the fries were hot. It didn’t matter what location you went to; they were all consistently reliable. This experience is indicative of the state of the entire chain now: a shadow of it’s former glory.

At this rest stop just over the MA border from NY on the pike, it’s not very good. If you ‘must’, and no choice, to stop, it will cover that. However the next exit after this one in MA is much better. Here, the bathroom’s were dingy and ordering at this McDonald’s has been tough on more than one occasion. It’s not the cheapest McDonald’s, just as you would expect in a rest stop. We had difficulty communicating with the person who is taking our drive through order, it was clear English was not their first language They ended up putting somebody else on the speaker to take our order. WhileI have great patience with people who are still learning our language, that person should be on another task, until they ramp up. When we arrived at the window there was a group of the three people who were just standing around laughing. The food was good, the service was quick (apart from ordering) but next time We are traveling back from Canada, we’ll remember to take the following exit.

I ordered a Oreo Mcflurry and they managed to screw it up. They gave me a ice cream with half a scoop of oreos on it. And I dont speak Spanish so I asked them to give me more oreos a couple times and they just keep re stirring it. I asked them to remake it but they didn’t.

This place needs to be shut down they do not give you fresh food look at your sandwiches the cheese is crusty hard, the buns are hard and dry like it’s old or microwave. The place is filthy the manager has long nasty hair around the food with no hair net nor do the female staff. They don’t wear gloves while they’re prepping the nasty food. This is my 3rd day this week getting food here with the same results. Better off with food from the gasstation. $14.00 for 2 sandwiches, hashbrown n coffee that I had to throw away. Oh and no orange juice all week long

I was on my way back from Albany and decided to pop in for a quick bite. The place is always crowded and perfect for travelers. The workers were very friendly and courteous. There’s enough room to park your car. This branch of McDonald is very close to the road and can be easily noticed noticed from a vehicle in normal traffic

After hearing “be with you in a moment” we didn’t hear from an employee for 30 minutes. Drive thru was empty, only people in line and lobby was empty when we went around front. After waiting for 30+ minutes we left with no food and still didn’t hear the employee again. Terrible service!

This is nothing against the workers, however the management is awful. We just went by and the worker said they are the only one working. This is unacceptable for management. Stop overworking your employees.

don’t bother stopping if you need Wi-Fi here on your laptop. They have dog slow Wi-Fi. I’ve attached a picture of an actual speed test that I ran while trying to do some work on my laptop.
