Consistently excellent service and food. I can’t believe after so many goings, I haven’t written a review! The quiches are incredible, the fruit perfectly ripe and crisp, and their coffee selection is very thorough considering it is not all they do. Seats fill up quickly, so I do recommend going early or on a weekday.

Really great experience. Service was attentive and fast. The food was fresh, delicious. Coffee hit the spot on this early Sunday morning. And the music was just right, not too loud not too soft with a good lively playlist.

I will be returning in the future .

Beautiful brunch with great flavors and presentation. We ordered coffee and a lavender latte. For food, we had the Fromage, Oeuf & Bacon on the croissant and the Bénédictine with Black Forest ham. The Fromage, Oeuf & Bacon was rich and satisfying, with flaky pastry, melted cheese, and egg. The Bénédictine with the Black Forest ham, poached eggs done just right. The fresh salad on the side balanced the dish nicely.

First time visiting New York, wanted to try something fresh & new & stumbled across this quaint little cafè. I had a sandwich with homemade chips & that was delicious, hot & fresh. The ambiance is welcoming & the service top notch. You are greeted with smiles from you enter the door. You can opt to dine in or outside. The grapefruit mimosa was delicious, it was really refreshing. I would most definitely be back before my trip is over ☺️

Wagyu Roast Beef was great. Bread was a bit hard. Service and atmosphere is nice. Also they had such a nice toilet. Recommended.

This is a long-time staple in the neighborhood when many businesses have shuttered… which is proof that this is a very good cafe. First, the croissants are made fresh in the morning, I’ve been here early and have gotten them as they are warm and it’s incredible. Slice Test: see video of a fresh croissant being sliced with the crispy, crunchy flakes breaking off. You can’t get that with a stale, spongy croissant. Great coffee ☕️ and other breakfast items like quiche or more traditional fare if you want eggs and potatoes. There are healthy options like oatmeal or granola with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit. Great place to take out-of-towners for a nice breakfast / brunch. Best to go early to avoid lines. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love a comfortable space to go with friends for coffee and light fare, and this place is just right. It has a very warm, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere.

The rustic/worn decor gives it a great urban cafe charm that feels like a great blend of Paris and Brooklyn. It is small and three of us were lucky to get a table right away. The staff is very mindful and keeps things moving rather efficiently.

Everyone in my party enjoyed the food, a salad with salmon, an avocado sandwich, and I had the crepe with Nutella. The crepe was nice and perfectly not too sweet. The one thing that would really be awesome is stronger air ventilation to keep air more neutral.

Stopped into Caldor Café for a quick lunch, ordered the croque monsieur and mushroom soup.

The croque was solid: crispy bread, generous Gruyère, well-balanced, but not particularly memorable. The kind of dish that satisfies but doesn’t stay with you. The mushroom soup tasted like… mushrooms. Earthy, warm, but very middle-of-the-road.

Staff were kind and efficient, water came fast, and I got an outdoor table right away. They did try to move things along a bit quickly, but I slowed the pace and they rolled with it.

All in all, a perfectly fine neighborhood café. Nothing bad, nothing standout, just a simple, good-enough stop if you’re nearby.

My friend and I went out for brunch and stopped by Couleur Café. As usual, I like to ask the waiter for recommendations and I’ll more often than not go with it. They recommended the Organic lamb merguez sausage. It was delicious and the first time I ever tried lamb sausage. The fries were crisp, salad was yummy and eggs were good. It’s a rather small and cozy place. I hope to be back again someday.

Once in a while, I wish Google ratings went from 1 to 10, because I often give restaurants a 5 of 5 when the really should get a 9 of 10. I like to be generous when rating an establishment, so I round up. Couleur Cafe would get a 10 of 10. We came here for a late Saturday brunch with a party of 3. We had a Salad Nicoise, Kale and Butternut Squash Salad, Saumon Fume Croissant as our mains, plus Creme Brûlée, Mousse au Chocolat, three Cappuccinos and 3 Moroccan Mint teas. Every single one of those things were delightful, especially the Salmon Croissant and Salad Nicoise. The small room is cheerful and the staff is friendly and attentive.
