Pretty much done with this location. Rude employees, they can’t get orders right, and the cooks need some training on how to properly cook the food. I was laughed at and talked about by a few young men recently while dining in after I asked for a lemon to give my rice some flavor.
I placed an order a couple of months ago and it was terrible. The potatoes were undercooked and the flavor of the food was just off. Daniel was very nice to give me a discount of 30% on my next visit. However, when I went to order again, I was told I could not sub a salad for only chips(which I’ve done every other time I’ve ordered) and it would take the place of the chips and side I was ordering. No problem, I just ordered a separate side of potatoes. Drove all the way back to work and didn’t have the potatoes I paid for.

Went with family for the first time to Taziki’s. We had 5 ppl with us and ordered the following;
2 beef Gyros
3 Greek salads, one with lamb
1 Mediterranean salad
1 Hummus with veggies and pita
1 Whipped feta with veggies and pita
The hummus and whipped feta dips were good. I ordered the Greek salad with lamb. The salad and dressing are deliciously fresh! The lamb was ok. It was very crumbly, under seasoned, overcooked, and a bit difficult to get it on a bite with the salad. My husband got the beef gyro with chips and added roasted potatoes. He said the beef is like sirloin strips with a little bit of salt and pepper, and the tzaziki sauce tasted like sour cream. Neither one of us detected the Mediterranean herbs/spices. Being Lebanese, I realize that being a chain restaurant, you’re going to get what you get, it’s not authentic by any means, but for the price/flavor? you could get 2-3 gyros at Arby’s for less with more flavor. (Just a comparison)
On the plus side, the staff members were wonderful! They took excellent care of us and were so kind. Everything is very fresh & it’s a very clean restaurant. If I go back, I would stick to a vegetarian meal. I also suggest you look at the menu and decide what you want before going.

Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe it was our first time to eat here and it was delicious My wife had pimento cheese sandwich and she said it was wonderful. I had the chicken and rice and it was really good. And the grandkids had the child feast and it comes with a bowl of mixed fruit on the side. My kids had the pork feast and it looked great. I’m going to try it the next time I stop there. I totally recommend Taziki’s Mediterranean cafe. Stop there and eat you’ll be glad you did and the prices are really reasonable compared to other restaurants.

Great location. The menu has changed and for the better. We tried the Falafel appetizer with the tzatziki sauce. Filled with flavor with a hint of spicy heat. The baklava was perfection with crispy phyllo filled with nuts and soaked with honey. We tried the create your own meal with grilled salmon, greek salad, and potatoes. The preparation for the potatoes makes this dish delectable and well seasoned. Great recipe change! The salmon was grilled perfectly and the fish was moist. Personal preference would be a lemon butter sauce. It was still delectable. The grilled chicken feast was enjoyable. It’s a chicken breast cubed but every bite was seasoned well. The tomato cucumber salad was well marinated with a dust of Feta.
Overall, a great dining experience. Kudos to the staff for delivering a quality product with smiles.

A friend recommended this Birmingham restaurant because someone in our party had gestational diabetes and Taziki’s menu pleased everyone.
I had the grilled shrimp added to the Caesar salad, and it was great. The shrimp was grilled perfectly and had a slightly spicy seasoning on it. The Caesar dressing was also perfect and the salad was topped with lots of freshly shaved Parmesan cheese.
My husband had the grilled chicken shish kebabs and said a few times that they were great. He also loved the potatoes.
My family had the hummus and veggies appetizer, the lemon chicken soup, grilled beef, and grilled chicken with the chain’s signature tzatziki sauce.
Everything was fresh and delicious! The locals told us this location isn’t as well kept as the other Tazikis locations but I thought this restaurant was great.
