Golden Boy is a solid spot if you’re in the mood for mariscos and Mexican-style sushi, and overall it was a good experience.

The highlight for me was the micheladas. Perfect balance, great flavor, and they paired really well with the seafood. Definitely something I’d go back for.

The shrimp ceviche was good and flavorful, but it tasted like the shrimp was pre-cooked rather than cured traditionally in lime juice. Still enjoyable, just not the classic style some people might expect.

The sushi was also good — more of a Mexican fusion style with sauces and bold flavors. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh.

Service was great. Staff was friendly, attentive, and the food came out in a good time.

Only downsides for me:
• Seating is mostly bar stools with no back support — not the most comfortable if you’re staying a while
• Plates and silverware were disposable plastic, which takes away a bit from the dining experience

Overall:
Great drinks, good food, friendly service — just a more casual setup than a traditional sit-down restaurant.

Service was good, food is average for the high price! The ceviche tostada had tons of veggies especially onions and just a few pieces of seafood! Plus it had a lot of juice which it was overwhelming and salty! The place was dirty especially the bathrooms! The menu needs pictures too

This place was a total letdown. We went to their newest location downtown. A menu with sushi, burgers, and tacos all in one? That’s the first glaring red flag. Half of it’s in Spanish with no descriptions, and the servers have no idea which burger is which.
The food is mediocre at best. We waited a full 45 minutes for everyone in our group to get their meals, which came out completely staggered. My friend ordered shrimp tacos and got some mystery meat instead, and I got the wrong burger entirely—nothing close to what I asked for. We had to ask multiple times for drinks. And for the price? Absolutely not worth it. Skip this place.

Stood for 10+ minutes at the front waiting to be seated. Multiple employees walked past without saying a word. No “I’ll be with you in a minute.”, or “do you need a table?” Just ignored me being there. After several employees ignored me, I just walked out.
They had maybe 4 tables seated total… it was absolutely not busy.
Silver peak was always friendly, attentive, and had great food. I would not come back to this “golden boy…”

Went with someone who never tried Mexican because we happen to be downtown and I wanted to try this place. Worst mistake of the day. They only have Mexican style sushi (baked rolls stuffed with cream cheese) and very limited options if you’re not eating Seafood. I ordered a burger and she had chicken nuggets. They brought out 5 tiny pieces of Chicken. They gave me the plainest burger I have ever seen and it came with Mayo when I asked for no Mayo. on Sunday when all the games are on they only had one playing. It’s like if this place only wants to cater to Marisco lovers that’s a very small audience to have as Regulars. I know I won’t be back after getting what I could have paid 10$ at Mc Donalds and even that would have been better.

Just went to have dinner for the first time and the food was great but when it came to pay the bill I was not given a chance to verify what we had ordered. We had a Golden boy ceviche $22.99 a baja shrimp taco $13.99 a mangoneada $15.99 and a cantarito $18.00 =$70.99. My bill came up yo $109 including tips then Aurora charged me 20% tips on top of the the amount that included tips. Check your bill total. My final bill was $130.98
