After a great walk at Gibraltar Rock we stopped here for lunch at the advice of our mailman Nick. It was not busy as It had just opened and it was the Badgers bye week so we sat at the bar and while the bartender got us our drinks we looked at the menu. We already knew we were gonna order pizza as that is what they are known for. My partner ordered the 10 in. Goat cheese pizza which has Canadian bacon, mushrooms, green peppers and of course goat cheese she asked if she could substitute banana peppers for the green peppers which they gladly did. I ordered a 10 in pepperoni and sausage pie with extra cheese. While we waited for our pies we watched some football on one of the several tvs around the bar area as more people started to come in for lunchtime. Our pizza’s came out in a very short time and they were everything we were told and more from the thin crispy crusts to the toppings these 2 pizzas although totally different were both outstanding and just like that we have another pizza place added to our rotation for pizza day. You owe it to yourself if you love good pizza to check it out take a little ride to Lodi and the Log Tavern Pizza Co. It will be worth it.

By far some of the best pizza I have had in the State! I have never had cauliflower crust better than theirs personally! This place felt like a hidden gem but that’s only because we aren’t from the area but this is clearly a local favorite! They have an awesome variety of pizzas and other options and they are dietary restriction friendly, they have vegetarian options and gluten free menu items clearly labeled which was greatly appreciated! Be prepared to wait when it is busy as it is a small establishment but the service was great and the wait was totally worth it, they were super attentive and got our food out to us as fast as they could. Highly recommend!

I never write reviews but I was shocked by our experience. We decided to order a pizza to go and were told 35-40 minute wait time, which was not a big deal we get that it was a Saturday night. We waited 40 minutes to go get our pizza. Once we got there to pick up our pizza we decided to have a drink at the bar and eat the pizza there because the game was on. The bar was empty, only the bar stools at the bar had people, not any of the bar tables or the dinning room. We paid for our pizza and our drinks. We went to open our box and were told we cannot eat the pizza there and had to leave. I asked why because we paid, got the pizza there and they were NOT busy. We would told it looks bad eating out of a box at the bar, it was unfair to the other customers because we “pre-ordered” our pizza instead of waiting our turn. I asked if we could sit at a bar table then and they said no because they were server tables and we already got our food and drinks. There were three
other couples sitting at the bar and they all had no issues and were so confused why we were told to leave. We had a few sips from our drinks then left because they asked us too. I have bartended in college bars to supper clubs for 10+ years and I have NEVER denied our customers to eat out of to go boxes. I am a local and I do not plan to ever go back.

The pizza here is really good, uncommonly good, as in scratch my head and wonder if I’m in Chicago or Minneapolis good. Thin crust, old fashioned pizzeria thick mozzarella with good quality toppings and a balanced sauce that neither takes front stage nor is bland enough to detract from the overall taste. It’s close to home, the staff seems very friendly, they have a family friendly dining area and a bar if you want to have a cold one to go along with your pizza. What’s not to love?

The pizza here is fantastic!!! The crust is delicious and they pile on whatever toppings you add to your pizza. The server Betty was very responsive and friendly. It’s our go to pizza place that’s worth the drive from Madison.

Wow what a great place. Service and food was amazing though they were about as busy as possible. The pizza must be good they had an hour wait for that.

This place is legit. Their tavern style pizza is really good and so many options! Chicago style italian beef was on point with the hot giardineria and excellent crust. Not super thin put held up perfect to the toppings. We had a fishing tournament on the wisconsin river and came back for pizza the next day. Just go. Great pizza and great service. Can’t miss.

The Log Tavern is our favorite place for pizza! Love the thin crust! It’s always cooked to perfection. Do yourself a favor and order the large spinach artichoke dip to eat before your pizza arrives.

This was our second visit. The first for lunch earlier in the year was really great and we agreed it would be on our list when we came back to the area. The second visit for dinner was good, but it just felt a little chaotic. They do a lot of carry out so the wait when dining in can be 40-60 minutes. They do a nice job of telling you that up front. The wine prices are decent, all individual mini bottles. Taps are pretty limited.
