The quesadillas kind of suck but I really enjoy their burritos the burritos are fire. The chips on the side do come with a very small amount of whatever topping you get, but you can get more.
Only complaint was I once had chicken but in my meat free burrito, I am vegetarian.

The food is always delicious and it’s a convenient place to stop for lunch. Laurie is especially nice and goes out of her way to make a gluten-free meal for me every time! I have celiac and have never had a problem. I definitely recommend coming here.

Fieras has a surprising amount of customization and a decently large menu that gives you a variety of options to choose from. They usually have at least one special going on at one time. As of writing this (3/25/25), they have a nacho special that was honestly really good. The portion sizes are fairly large too, and definitely fill you up. I would recommend the Fieras quesadilla!

I’m back and forth on this place. As a vegetarian when I eat their quesodilla I don’t seem to have an issue but I thought I’d be adventurous and order a tofu burrito, stomach pains for hours and tasted like chicken. I won’t lie, it was really good, the diarrhea not so much. Pretty sure what happened was they didn’t clean their grill before cooking the tofu. You guys have to be careful with that.

When I was going to NMU in 2015 this place was amazing. I went multiple times a week. It’s only gone downhill since. Now in 2022 the chipotle sauce is weird and gross and the crema is sickeningly sweet. Don’t go here. If you’re wanting this style of food go to Border Grill.

Best restaurant on campus in my opinion. If you’re looking for a good value I recommend the Bean Rice and Cheese burrito. It’s very filling, and very tasty. When they ask if you want sour cream ask for chipotle as well

This place is my favorite restaurant to go to on Northern’s campus! The Fire Roasted Flank Burrito is very good, and their Beer Battered White Fish tacos on Fridays are amazing! Definitely recommend this place! Ask for Marina to make your food, she’s the best by far!

vegan options are kind of bland and the corn tortillas tasted like literally chewing into cardboard and cracked in half so they weren’t even tacos, but the sauces are good. The price does not at all reflect the food quality.

There really isn’t much to say about Fieras. You’re paying Chipotle prices for Burger King quality “Mexican” food. If you’re attending NMU, you’ll probably end up eating here once or twice out of desperation, and it’s definitely.. food, so it’ll accomplish that much. Just don’t expect anything great, and don’t expect to feel happy when comparing the taste to your latest bank statement.

The food is great but the employees are always arguing with each other, last time I went there they seemed really hostile towards me for some reason- believe me when I say I understand what being a food worker is like! I always make sure to treat employees with kindness but it honestly felt like the girl who handed me my food was about to throw it in my face.
