Enjoyed the Lunar New Year menu with my husband. I could not recommend this place more! Good sake selection and a variety of cocktails. The vegan cream cheese wontons & egg rolls were the perfect starters. The caramelized shitakes & mock duck was ooey gooey deliciousness. My husband particularly enjoyed the crispy basket of noodles filled with tofu and stir-fried vegetables. The vegan grilled chicken was like nothing I’ve ever had. This ‘meat’ is made in house and the chef said it was developed from a vegan pork belly recipe they had. It has the texture and taste of pork belly, and was absolutely out of this world wrapped in lettuce with some crispy veggies.
But the star of the evening was the warm mochi in ginger syrup. They should seriously bottle and sell this sauce! I’m dying to try it on ice cream! The mochi was sumptuously soft and and ginger syrup was so rich it almost tasted like drinking a ginger butter sauce. You’ve GOT to try it!
Thank you for a lovely evening–we both look forward to coming back soon!

I’ve been visiting Jasmine 26 Hot Pot since they’ve opened. In addition to delicious food in general, they’re vegan friendly! Try their vegan cream cheese wontons and ask for a custom spicy strawberry margarita. They’re amazing!

The food was excellent! The owners are incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. Simple things like pouring the hot tea for you really shows the attention and care you can expect. I had the Lemongrass Chicken which was so tender and flavorful, as well as tasty egg rolls with thin crispy wrap, chicken satay with really good peanut sauce, and the Sichuan green beans in garlic with carrots and onions. The portions are very sizeable and so we got to enjoy really tasty leftovers the next day! I am excited to come back and try the hotpot!

This is a fantastic spot for vegans and vegetarians! I got the spicy Szechwan broth veganized, and the meat in the set was replaced with tofu. My partner got the pad Thai with tofu, with the option to remove the egg. Very yummy and the broth was actually spicy!! Great service and the decor is very pleasant.

What a true gem in Minneapolis. We need to support this place and show it lots of love! You can taste the love in the food. Service with a huge smile and great knowledge and interaction. Genuinely and actively making certain you are comfortable and well fed. The hot pots are so bursting with flavor!! And it’s a fun experience. My mom had the pad thai which smelled and looked phenomenal. Terrific ribs and variety. And fresh bubbly fruit drinks that refresh. Wonderful art and pristinely clean place. So good. Good people good food great place. Go again and again. Parking is easy and you will feel welcome. Everyone in our group was pleased and every bite amazing.

Highly recommend for gluten free folks! I’ve never found safe hot pot before and it was delicious!! Most of their hot pot menu is gf and there are a good number of gf options on their regular menu. They don’t have a dedicated gf fryer so avoid fried stuff if you’re really sensitive to cc like I am. The staff was so nice and helpful! The owner checked in on us a couple of times as well! Good vibes all around & yummy/safe food! I’ll definitely be back!

I’m sure that this restaurant makes really good dishes but their application of Hot pot really misses the mark. No explanation that it wasn’t a la carte Hot pot where I could pick any ingredients the only choice was the choice of noodle base. The broth was well made, I did enjoy that but I think it missed the entire point of hot pot.
The Valentine’s Day special was very inconsistent and kind of a disaster. It was a very small hot pot special with one small pot for two people. The spring rolls are pretty good. However the shaken sizzling beef tray really needs to be reworked.
That dish is a decent beef stir fry however inexplicably it is served with 80% of the dish being unseasoned waffle fries that get soggy almost immediately. Both me and my partner were confused by the waffle fries on the dish and it being a special none of the courses were given a description beyond the name of the dish.
Waffle fries and beef stir fry together is just not a coherent idea and rather than being a sort of fusion cuisine that is greater than the sum of its parts it’s kind of worse than the sum of its parts.
The tamarind whiskey sour was also pretty bad it arrived unmixed with 90% of the volume of the drink being commercial ice machine ice. Not worth $14.

I think there’s a lesson in every food experience you have and hot pot teaches you the art of patience. Broth was amazing and the food that came with it was as delicious. The iced Vietnamese coffee was 100/10 and gave us the energy boost we needed after an enjoyable meal. Left rolling out of there with smiles on our faces. Thank you and will be back!!

The staff was so kind and considerate, they made sure to help us decide what to order, and helped explain how to cook their hotpot. We ordered the pork belly, stir fry tofu, and Sichuan hot pot + more hot pot a la carte. The food was delicious and fresh despite us coming in around closing, and was bursting with flavor! Bathrooms were clean and tidy, as were the tables. Overall, an amazing experience with attentive staff and flavorful dishes! Would recommend and will definitely come again soon!!

When you dine at Jasmine 26, you feel like you are being welcomed into a wonderful family’s home to be treated to delicious food and great service. Their vegan options are all delicious! And multiple vegan hot pot broths is just the icing on the cake. They are so knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and truly treat their customers like family. We love our time visiting with Jeremy and Lee and cannot wait to continue to visit and support Jasmine 26 for many, many years to come!
