As soon as I saw this place, I told my wife we had to go. It’s the home of the torpedo sandwich, how could you say no. The place did not disappoint! I got a “10 inch” torpedo sandwich but it was more like 24 inches! Allie got a Hot Italian Beef which was also delicious and would have made Tony Soprano proud. Hopefully we make it back one day! My wife, Allie, who NEVER compliments me said I even did a good job. Thanks Sub City!

My complaint…where is the meat? Too expensive for an all bread and barely meat sandwich. Please fix this, it’s been happening for a while now but I was hoping it would get better. It’s not, if you’re gonna skimp on the meat lower the prices.

I’ve been picking up Submarine City for my wife for over 20 years now. She really likes it. I’m not big on subs, so I’ll take her word for it. But they have excellent cheese fries.

The food is okay, but I feel it’s overpriced for what you get. I’ve never eaten here and thought that I’d want to come back.
I am really not a fan of the customer service. Any time I’ve gone in, there are rude workers and lots of signs that indicate they’re over working with people (“no refund unless you return the food”, “get off the phone before ordering”, “people order over the phone and don’t pick up they’re food so you need to pay over the phone to place an order”). Stuff like that. I get that customer service is not glamorous and have been there in many jobs. But you can tell that the management and owners have no love for their work there, and it shows in pretty much everything. There’s a way to get customers to be compliant with more tactful/intelligent strategies and without making the customer feel small or like they’re a nuisance. Definitely wouldn’t choose to go here, the only time I do is when extended family chooses it.

This is a great dining and go restaurant. There are so many different selections for pretty much anyone. They had gyros and sub sandwiches hamburgers and hotdogs, chicken and salad. Lots to choose from. There is seating inside and plenty of parking easy to get in and off of the restaurant from route 45.

I came here and ordered two GRILLED chicken sandwiches. Before I proceed, what does grilling mean? I Googled the word, and this is what Wikipedia had to say:
“Grilling is a form of cooking that involves heat applied to the surface of food, commonly from above, below or from the side. Grilling usually involves a significant amount of direct, radiant heat, and tends to be used for cooking meat and vegetables quickly. Food to be grilled is cooked on a grill (an open wire grid such as a gridiron with a heat source above or below), using a cast iron/frying pan, or a grill pan (similar to a frying pan, but with raised ridges to mimic the wires of an open grill).”
None of that above was executed to my sandwich. NONE!!! They went into the freezer, grabbed two frozen chicken breasts (no idea how long they have been in there), and nuked them. Then, they proceeded to fry them on the GRIDDLE. 2.5 minutes on each side! Then they gave it to me. After ONE bite, I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t eat it. That’s how nasty this lazy process of a sandwich was. I want you to observe the pics from the sandwich. Then I want you to access the decline of the sandwich, based on my past pics, from just months ago.
To quote a line from the Mortal Kombat video game: “YOU SUCK!!!”

I only gave two stars because the garlic fries were the best thing I would’ve gave them a one star. I feel like the fries is the best but anywho it’s kinda fake advertisement I saw sesame seed sub rolls n got the rolls that everybody go to to get bread!! I thought it was real corned beef umm no look processed even tho it said online that it was never processed!! Look like something that came from a jewels deli! Too much mustard where’s the seasonings where are the oils? My guy said it was good n I never had it so I said I’m down but for the cost and the layout and the false advertisement hands down sub city!! If it wasn’t for that high pricing for the food I would’ve threw it in the trash!! Not impressed I could’ve went to my other spot submarine port!!! Want get my 46.00 no more what a waste!!!!

A hidden gem! Just moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a place open late to grab a late dinner. I’m so happy I stopped food was hot and fresh! Definitely will be back!
