The food is very good. However, I don’t think I received the value of my money and it is not convenient to place an order.
This is my second time here. Both times I ordered the cashew shrimp, once for dinner and once for lunch. The dinner portion was fine but the lunch portion (pictured with review) was lacking. I got about a 1/2 measuring cup of rice and about 3/4 cup of the entree. That’s less than half the size of the dinner portion and there’s about a $5 difference. I would have just ordered the dinner portion if I had known better. Also, my box wasn’t closed securely and spilled inside the bag making a mess.
As far as ordering, the phone was busy each time I tried to call ahead to order. I even tried to order online the first time. I got a message from my bank that the charge was pending but the restaurant never received the order. Both times I had to walk into the restaurant and place my order and wait for it to be prepared. Each time, there wasn’t anyone up front to take an order. I had to walk to the back to wave some down in the kitchen to get my order. I have not tried ordering through DoorDash but I do know it’s available on the app.

The service is wonderful. The place is nice environment and everyone was pleasant. The food was very fresh, delicious and fair price for portion. We had a group of 6 with varying dishes and everyone enjoyed all we had and highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!

I loved the tuna fish and the sweat and sour with shrimps. However, the fried shrimps were over salty. The service was ok, they can be nicer. Over all a good experience.

Thai One On definitely exceeded my family’s expectations. The excellent service, calming ambiance, and wonderful music selection were all just cherries on top to the fantastic food. Pad Thai is one of my favorite dishes, and I’m extremely critical of any restaurant’s Pad Thai if I haven’t had it before but Thai One On did not disappoint. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Sam. This restaurant should no doubt be at the top of Anniston’s go to places to eat, and we can’t wait to visit again!

Love this place! It’s a little hole in the wall. Their fried dumplings are absolutely delicious. Now the staff is a little sketchy, the last couple times I was there you could hear loud arguing going on in the kitchen. I’ve seen workers walk out angry before, and I kept waiting for a brawl to break out. I still definitely recommend eating here if you want good authentic Thai.

No matter what I order at Thai One On, I know that it will be quality food. I have had a variety of their appetizers and enjoy the red curry, ginger sauté, and drunken noodles. Their service model is a bit different these days (you write down your order and take it to the counter, and pour your own fountain drink), but the taste and value of the meals is always exceptional.

I can’t get enough of this place. Sometimes service is a little slow, but it’s always worth the wait! The Thai BBQ Pho… Omg. AND now they have bubble tea? Someone knows how to run a business!

Best Pad Thai in Alabama without a doubt! I’ve tried several restaurants and this one was the winner for me. The Pad Thai here is a must try.

First time going. I have heard nothing but good stuff about the staff and food, and I have to say. It meets every expectation and more!

I have eaten here since they first opened on Noble St. and several times since then. I’m sorry to say that the decline has happened slowly, but it has happened. Customer service is practically non-existent anymore and you are asked to get your own drinks and wrote your order on an order pad. There has always been somewhat of a wait, but it used to be worth it. We were asked several times if we were ready to pay and we had only received our appetizer. When the food did arrive, after watching numerous to go orders leave an otherwise empty restaurant, it was dismal. The Tom Kai soup had no coconut milk and barely any flavor of lemon grass. It looked like a totally different soup and it’s not my first rodeo with Thai food. The Pad Thai was okay, but I’ve had better and the heat level I asked for (5 out of 5) was a slim 1 to 0. My wife asked if she could have clear noodles instead of rice noodles with her dish, which they agreed to, but was served egg noodle with beef and broccoli that had a flavorless brown sauce on it. I’m afraid to say I will no longer find my Thai food locally in my hometown. I’d rather drive an hour and be served the traditional Thai tastes I have grown to love from a restaurant that still cares.
