American standards like prime rib, salads & housemade desserts, plus a serene covered patio.

When the owners, Bill and his wife, managed this place it was quality all the way around. Always busy too. With another family member taking over, everything has digressed – service, food quality, overall hospitality. No wonder it’s hardly busy. However, on occasion we try it again. No more. Last week we saw they charged our card twice the same day (obviously we ate there only once that day). One charge for 48 bucks and some change, a second for 56 bucks and change.
When we called to point this out and ask the family member who runs the joint now to correct the mistake his reply was: “dispute the charge”. WHAT ! We have to fix what they screwed up ? And, we now have that on our CC company records? On top of that, the dude was completely rude about it. I don’t know if it’s lazy, incompetence or dishonesty, but I have my opinion. Just like their other restaurant few doors down (the Mexican food restaurant) that this same dude ran into the ground (it closed), this one is next.

Had the best server I think I have ever had. Danny was attentive without being overbearing. He remembered my wife from a past visit and made sure she felt special ( which she is). He remembered she didn’t like what she ordered last time and steered her away from the same thing.
The food is always good and I highly recommend this fine establishment. Thanks Danny for making this a great experience.

Scratch made food is good, and the service and atmosphere are very pleasant.
Came here on a rainy day so the outdoor patio was not seated, but we were immediately seated inside. We have been here before when the outside was open and it is very nice out there on a nice day.
The menus rotate with each seating and are seasonally adorned with tasty selections.
A good place to get some good food in a very good setting.
Here for the Saturday evening very good prime rib dinner.
We made reservations for the prime rib, not necessarily for the seating; and told by the owner, that sometimes the prime rib runs out, so reserving our ‘slice’ was a good idea.
We just ate prime rib in Laughlin at $12 a plate cheaper; and although the plate and dinner was cheaper, the meat in Laughlin was noticeable more tender. Not that this was tough by any measure or the flavor wasn’t as good. Both had a terrific rub and flavor, the casino surprisingly had a very nice piece of meat.
All of the sides and service were excellent here this evening so our overall experience was very fulfilling.
Another great meal here, as seems to be a regular occurrence.

Garden Center is one of our go to restaurants in Fallbrook. The food is excellent but the service is always stellar. Bill (The owner) always makes you feel welcomed and we will continue to go there every time we go through Fallbrook

We stopped in for lunch on a cool, sunny day while visiting California and sat on the back patio. My wife and I split the Chipotle Chicken sandwich and Monte Cristo which were both excellent. She enjoyed the potatoes for her side and I ate the garden center salad, which was also wonderful. Last, but not least, we tried the peanut butter chocolate pie, which was rich and delicious. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was casual and relaxed.

Decided to try this new little Cafe while in town. Very impressed with the food. From the fresh squeezed orange juice to very juicy flavor ful sandwich. My friend ended getting crab cakes which by the way she said some of best she’s ever tasted. Coming back again for sure can’t wait to try more items on menu. Great service and great atmosphere as well ❤

We had a group dinner and award ceremony on the back patio. The food was excellent, the service was great and the atmosphere was inviting. Visit this gem of a restaurant in Fallbrook.

Asked an older man with whit hair, who we think was owner, if he would mind us moving tables. He said, “Yes, I would mind.” I asked why. He said, “Then I am going to have to clean two tables.” I thought he was joking. He said, “Why do you want to move? I told him I couldn’t hear my companion because the ladies they sat next to us we talking too loud. He said we couldn’t move!! Odd, bizarre behavior. Obviously the hour plus drive there and back for $70 for two salads and coffees wasn’t worthwhile for him to value our business or provide common courtesy. No one ever was sat at any of the tables around us.

Very tasty “Rancheros Omelet”, nice patio area, and friendly servers. Wish I could have been there for dinner, I hear good things about the prime rib. (They’ll also put prime rib in the weekend brunch items)

Best breakfast place in Fallbrook. Everything was made to order, fresh, and delicious. Always ask about the specials but their wait staff is awesome and they’ve always told us every time we’ve been.
