My favorite time of year! Updated 8 Crazy Nights menu & decor. Great bar year ‘round. Servers are ON it, always— fun, excellent service, and they remember everything. It’s still one of my Go-To places here in Chicago’s Wrigleyville.

Loved this bar!!! They were open at 6am for the 6:30 Chelsea game. Staff were so friendly and ready to serve everyone so early in the morning. Screens all over, you didn’t have a bad view anywhere you sat! We also tried the Fish and Chips and those were so good. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely love the Hanukkah pop-up bar! The service here is very friendly, the drinks are great, and the food is pretty good too. Really love that they do this. It’s a nice little place, with a really great back room. Clearly a lot of locals, but very welcoming to anyone. The boozy hot chocolate I had was top notch. The boozy Hanukkah jelly donuts (sufganiyot) were delicious and thankfully dairy free!!! Great place.

I stopped in on Christmas Eve while the bar was converted to an 8 Crazy Nights/Hannukah bar. The decor was really fun – blue and white lights, sweaters, tiny hats on bottles, tablecloths, themed cocktails. Some screens still played sports but various holiday movies were on. Metered street parking but it was easy to find a spot on the holiday. Fritz and Buckets were attentive and kept the vibe fun. Great draft beer selection. This tavern is normally a Viking bar, which is when I normally visit. There’s a main seating area and bar, and a second seating area down the hallway where the restrooms are. I’ll be back.

Oy! Incredible find while visiting. Get this: an enclosed, heated patio with TVs where we could bring our dog. Very friendly waiters. Good drinks, good food. It’s aka “8 Crazy Nights” Hanukkah spot and the decor was fab (though it’s not Hanukkah yet). I had the loaded latkes and they were perfect.

Stopped im to watch college football.
From the minute we walked the whole staff was welcoming.
They mentioned Chicago Chelsea club party and offered to turn sound on and TV on for our game in the back room.
More than kind.

Dropped by The Graystone Tavern the other night with some buddies to catch the game. The vibe was alright, typical Wrigleyville spot, but nothing that stood out. We ordered the honey butter chicken tenders and a couple of smash burgers with curly fries on the side. The tenders were kinda dry, and the honey butter sauce didn’t do much to help. Burgers were decent but definitely not worth the price tag. Service was slow, even though the place wasn’t packed. All in all, dropped about $50 and left feeling like I could’ve had a better meal elsewhere.

Went to experience Hanukkah bar. Happened to be during Minnesota Vikings game (they’re a borussia Dortmund/Chelsea/vikings bar). That was an interesting experience. Not bad, just unexpected. People had fun. Seasonal drinks were great too! Had Mensch Mule. Perfect. Food, however, was trash. Never ordered a brisket sandwich and experienced being served a pot roast sandwich before. Bun was crispy and perfectly done. But I ordered brisket, not potatoes and carrots with a few strands of beef in it. Fries were overdone and latkes were disappointing. If you’re going for drinks and an experience, go. You’ll enjoy. If you’re expecting to eat there too, hard pass. So much promise on the food menu to be let down in person. Should’ve known.

Got a Hanukkah Hot Chocolate. So tasty. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, even if there’s a Vikings bar.
