Visited this spot for brunch with a friend who was in town. Parking on Sunday was free in the garage across the street. Made a reservation and was seated when we got there.
The atmosphere inside and outside was cool. I ordered the Turkey BLT, its just okay. Could have made it at home.
My friends got the Chicken Sharwma and the Salmon Burger with truffle fries. Both were way better than my sandwich. Also got a pumpkin latte that was good. I would recommend it to anyone in the area. I would like to go back again and try something different for lunch and dinner.

We had the best experience at the Java Restobar last night, I hosted a group of 14 for happy hour and the food and drinks were amazing. To make the experience even better, Jonathan provided top notch 5 star service the whole evening. Food came out quickly and everyone had the drink refill they wanted. Great time had by us all!

Cristian was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely personable. He made thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be spot-on, and he ensured that our table was taken care of from start to finish. You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that energy added so much to our dining experience.
We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be asking for Cristian again. Highly recommend both the restaurant and the incredible service he provided.

Love this spot in downtown Silver Spring. Great coffee and a menu with so many tasty options for breakfast, lunch, brunch or dinner. The vibe is relaxed and friendly and the staff always make you feel welcome. I like that you can grab a quick espresso on the go or sit down and enjoy a full meal with friends. This is a quiet relaxed atmosphere. We had a wonderful breakfast. The presentation of food was excellent. All of us enjoyed our choice of breakfast. Our daughter did the peppermint latte, she did say it was a little on the sweet side. The next time we visit Maryland, we will stop in at Java Nation!

Have brunch with friends here and absolutely loved the full experience. The menu is huge so it’s hard to pick but perfect for a meal with ppl with different taste. I have the steak and eggs and it was delicious. Will be back to explore other dishes

This cafe exceeded my expectations. The menu is quite extensive, having a little bit of everything. The service and vibe is nice! There’s indoor and outdoor seating with heated lamps. I ordered the eggnog cold brew and walnut, fig, Brie cheese croissant which was tasty! I’ll come by again to try their other items esp their mimosa/margaritas.
