Yes yes yes yes. Small little joint in a building of small little joints. The burritos are on the smaller side so as they suggest if your hungry get multiple. Thru are priced fair enough to do so. I got 3 varieties. Carne Assada, Colorado and Birra. All at what they call Chihuahua-style. Every one of them was savory, spicy and flavorful. I love places like this.

Great Mexican food by the Phoenix airport. The birria tacos were especially delicious, and the birria tacos meal came with delicious consome. The chilaquiles with green sauce were also good – with just the green sauce, it’s not too spicy.
Grest service with fun Spanish electronic/indie sorta music playing in the background.
Thanks for the delicious food!

We tried Testal for the first time for lunch on Monday. There are many meat and vegan options. We had the vegan Colorado Burrito, the vegan Chile Relleno Burrito, rice, and beans, Pinole Agua Fresca, and Tamarindo Agua Fresca and each item was a 10 out of 10. The flavors were vibrant, fresh, and delicious. You could taste that the chef really focuses on fresh ingredients, amazing flavor profiles, and quality dishes. Excellent food, service, venue, and location with easy and accessible parking. Thank you –we will be back!!
Not sure why Google will not let me post my photos.

INCREDIBLE food and service! We had a great time and they were so accommodating of our large group. They knew we were celebrating and went out of our way to take care of us. We loved the food and getting to learn about the culture of the food and drinks!

Testal is a must-try in Arizona. The burritos are incredible, especially the homemade tortillas — you can truly taste the difference. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
Lily provided amazing service and made the experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Great food and great service all around. Highly recommend!

If you like Chihuahua-style Mexican cuisine, you should really give this place a try.
I attended an excellent event. The carne asada burrito was excellent. The tastes of seared beef and guacamole was beyond delectable. It was also pretty filling.
I also had one of their alcoholic drinks called Loco Valdés ($13), named in honor of the late Mexican actor and comedian, Fernando Manuel Alfonso Gómez de Valdés y Castillo, also known as “El Loco” Valdés.
The atmosphere has that dive bar feel, but the food and drinks were top notch.
When I am in the area, that will be a place to stop by.

We came here on a last minute recommendation, it is a smaller space with limited seating. As we walked in we saw this tortilla pocket that looked amazing. We knew right away this was a good idea. We asked about it and the friendly girl at the counter explained it is the Gordita, limited availability. We ordered one. It came out pretty quick and it was amazing. A little spicy but we were able to handle it. I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their menu.

Right when you walk in the door, the service has always been fantastic and very polite. This has been my second time visiting, once for breakfast and the second for lunch. I like that I can find brunch and breakfast burritos here, in addition to delicious tacos and tortas. They have plenty of seating inside and outside, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ve paid double the amount for breakfast burritos that weren’t nearly as good. Go check it out!

Amazing burritos and tacos! This place is a hidden gem for sure. Highly recommend.
If you’re looking for a fat chipotle style burrito this isn’t for you. This place serves the perfect size portions so if you’re used to stuffing yourself go to Taco Bell.
