I am originally from Princeton but have been in Lexington for quite a while. I was visiting family and asked my sister if we could try something different (to me). She suggested Coppertop. BBQ is a go to for me and my husband in Lexington but we both agreed that Coppertop was actually better than any of our go to spots in Lexington. We loved the BBQ sauce so much that we bought some from their store. Highly recommend.

The Beef BBQ sandwich is the star of the show. The fried pickles are alright. I’d not get the pork BBQ sandwich again; it was kinda tasteless. The house sauce is pretty good. The looks of the restaurant is top notch. They obviously spent a lot of time and money on the aesthetic of the place.

We came for supper on a recommendation of friends. The pork we ordered was very good, but with an hour and forty five minutes to close, it was the only smoked option. Everything else was sold out along with baked potatoes. We may have to opt for an earlier supper time next time! The butter pecan ice cream was out of this world. We ordered it along with the coconut & pineapple. We were still happy with our meal and dessert.

Great BBQ: small town, wonderful food and service. We have had pulled pork, chicken, ribs, salad, onion rings, tater tots and salad. All were excellent! Smoked meat is fine and sauce is good but not hot.

My husband and I ate here and it was phenomenal. He had the BBQ Chicken Dinner. The baked potato was ginormous. It was nice being able to sit down and have a nice meal. Another plus is they weren’t sticklers about masks. Thank you guys for the southern hospitality!

Copper Top BBQ is our go-to stop whenever we’re in Fredonia, and it never disappoints. The food is always amazing—flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. Every visit feels like a treat, but what I truly dream about is their lemon ice cream… it’s unforgettable! The staff is kind and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere just makes you want to stay a while. We always look forward to coming back. Highly recommend to anyone passing through or lucky enough to live nearby!

Pulled over with my camper because I had a flat tire. I made sure to leave enough room for people to get out easily. I was immediately confronted and told to move by the rudest employee I think I have ever encountered. I tried to explain that I just needed to change a flat really quickly. She did not care and threatened to call law enforcement which I told her I thought was a good idea. If this is the kind of hospitality that you can expect from their staff when you are in an unfortunate situation I can only imagine how they treat their customers. I would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely unnecessary rude and condescending attitude. Some of the locals stopped and offered help and let us know that the rude person was not an employee but THE OWNER.
