Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Yall, when I tell you, I have not had Whataburger in about five or six years. I was on my way home from a business trip and I stopped in Leesville because I was a little hungry to get something to eat. Yall the pictures may not do it any justice, but when I tell you this, Whataburger did not disappoint. This was burger was amazing. I hadn’t had it in a long time, but the Customer Service was great. They were friendly. The food was hot and amazing and I was full as a tick when I finished eating all that food. Thank you, Whataburger.

It isn’t bad but it’s not fast food. It’s food. It costs about as much for cooking for yourself and with the time it takes to get your food you might as well. Been at the window after paying for over 17 mins waiting on a single burger and fries.

At 2:35 got in line at the menu/speaker. There was a wait before I could move. When they moved and there was absolutely no answer from the speaker, I pulled forward with the other cars.
At 2:55 we made it to the window. There was a few minutes before someone came to the window. They asked if we had an online order and I informed them that we have not ordered yet. At that time, she took my order while looking up. I informed her that if there is an order up there that it was not ours as we have not ordered yet. So again, she took our order of a large number 1 and a jr Whataburger meal.
At 2:57 was asked to pull forward.
At 3:09, there were no more cars in drive thru and one of the staff that looked like a cook stepped outside for a cigarette or something.
At 3:12 it looked like the drive thru attendant opened door and looked at us waiting fory order by the trash can.
At 3:13 was told my order was given to someone else and they now have to remake it.
At 3:19 received our order and on our way. Upon receiving our order, we were informed we got a cookie for our inconvenience. Upon checking, there was a cookie and a brownie in the bag that we did not order. However, neither the burgers nor the fries were fresh as expected since we were informed that they would have to be remade. Luckily it was made to the expected standard instead of badly made burgers which has happened in the past at other Whataburger locations. But the order did seem to be correct this time unlike the last two visits to this location. The two previous visits over the past few months were much quicker, but on both occasions I had received someone else’s order when going through the drive through.
Today I waited patiently as my daughter was being patient. It was easier to wait than to have an autistic 5 year old have a melt down because she did not get her French fries after having a good day at school and therapy! Too bad she does not cookies or brownies as a bonus for her waiting so patiently today.

I am normally hard to please with a burger, but this was genuinely one of the very best I have had. Fries were fine, milk shake was incredible. Lady who served us was very polite and came to see how we were half way through too.

Every Whataburger is slow but this Whataburger is the worst!!! Every order I have made has been so slow it is like they are figuring out how to make a burger and fries in a time before cooking was invented. And the customer service is the worst! They argue with customers when they I correctly make orders, when there is a simple to resolve issue. Can we tear down this Whataburger and give us a Chick-fil-A? At least they would act like it isn’t a bother to correctly make my order!!!! I would give 0 stars if I could.

Me and my friend were going fishing early in the morning and we both hadn’t eaten all night (we both work overnight shifts).
I ordered 2 double whataburgers for us. I pull up to the window and hear my cashier, out loud, say “Who orders double burgers this early in the morning???” Not sure if she didnt know I was RIGHT THERE to hear, or she simply didnt care.

There was a wino by the front door spitting on the sidewalk. The people that were working there worked very slowly. The French fries were good. I don’t believe I’d ever eat here again.

I have enjoyed their food on a few occasions and each experience through the drive thru has been amazing. The staff has always been welcoming and fast. I’ve received all the condiments I’ve asked for, napkins and so on. The food was cooked and delivered to me in an adequate amount of time and has always been correct. I think they are doing a great job
