Stopped by here for lunch looking for a fish special. They only served salmon at lunch, so I ordered the vermicelli shrimp salad. It was excellent. (Of course, the noodles are cold.) While sitting at the bar, another customer ordered a sushi/ shashimi mix. He said it was the freshest he ever had. A second customer ordered the same and made the same statement. I will be taking my friends here for sushi soon. It is nicely decorated, with a full bar and walls of bottles of wine. I recommend Blue Ocean. I will try their fish or teppanyaki for dinner. (I don’t like salmon )

My family of 5 have been ordering from here for years. This is a restaurant where all 3 of my picky children can find something and not complain. My teen loves all their sushi and tries something new every time we go. My 8 year old son gets the salmon and has proclaimed it’s “the best salmon ever” every time. You get 2 fillets which is a huge portion! He even picked it for his family birthday dinner. I love their shaken fillet and chicken which is basically the hibachi. The portions are giant! My husband randomly DoorDash’s their chicken friend rice he likes it so much. It is pricey but well worth it for the amount of food. The atmosphere is really nice and would be a great place for a date night or to take work clients. The owners are wonderful! Highly recommended giving it a try!

Don’t be fooled by the strip mall setting – Blue Ocean serves up amazing sushi and Asian cuisine in an upscale atmosphere. The impeccable service and beautifully presented dishes are a far cry from your typical strip mall fare. While I usually have my go-to dishes at other Asian restaurants, everything I’ve tried at Blue Ocean has been so well-balanced and flavorful that I can’t resist exploring their menu further with each visit. Plus, they boast a well-stocked bar and surprisingly reasonable prices, making it one of my favorite places to dine.

We’ve been coming to Blue Ocean for 20 years, and it remains outstanding. Best sushi anywhere. Pictured are the Blue Ocean Roll and Kim’s Roll. Both so good. Also try the Tuna Tower and Mussels Dynomite. The service (Kim) is always excellent. The drinks are also great.

This was our first time here, and we honestly couldn’t be happier! My husband and I ended up ordering the Miso soup (me) and Seaweed salad (him) as appetizers; both were excellent!
We also ordered the Caterpillar Roll, Tiger Roll, and Rainbow Roll. Considering how busy the place was, the wait was definitely manageable, and both of us enjoyed the extra time to be out of the house.
That caterpillar roll was do adorable, I’ve included a photo below.
Our server was awesome, and we’ll definitely be back!

The food is soooo good! If your looking for great Asian food go here, tom kha and tom yum are amazing. Sushi is legit. Stir fried veggies are delicious. Their house salad, mmmmm. Let’s go!
