Papa’s Pizza is a cozy restaurant offering everything you love about Italian cuisine. Featuring classic Italian dishes such as pizzas, subs and pasta, and fresh salads. We have something for everyone. The first Papa’s Pizza opened in Bassett VA in 1998, and in 2019, third generation owners Vincenzo and his wife expanded into beautiful Salem, VA. They continue to serve the traditional recipes created from the long family line of Italian chefs, and also new dishes with a modern twist on Italian cuisine.

Are you kidding me! For 5.55 this salad is crap. The cucumbers are old the tomatoes are old and cold. Also the wings are baked. I asked for the wings to be fried hard and it’s like the didn’t even look at my request. Why even give me the option to leave a request. Also the pizza is floppy. And not cooked all the way. We just moved to the area 3 weeks ago, and while getting some basic provisions at the Kroger in the same plaza, an employee at Kroger highly recommended Papa’s Pizza to us. I’m very glad she did, because we’ve been 5 times in 3 weeks, that’s how much we love it! Our first visit, we ordered pizza and brought it home. It was the best pizza I’ve had in a very long time. Second visit, we went for our anniversary dinner. My husband ordered the chicken parm dinner, and I ordered mushroom ravioli in pink sauce (think vodka sauce, just no vodka, lol). My husband really enjoyed his food, and the ravioli I ordered were fantastic. Both meals came with some magically delicious garlic rolls. Our third visit was another take-home pizza, 4th was Valentine’s Day dinner (a repeat of our anniversary dinner), and 5th was a take-home pizza again. We cannot recommend Papa’s Pizza enough, the staff are pleasant and friendly, the prices are great, and the food is phenomenal.

We stopped in after seeing some of their social media posts. It 100% lived up to the hype. The supreme pizza was delicious, fresh and flavorful. The staff were all warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We will definitely be back again to try the Grandma’s pizza!

Tried this place on a whim and got a large grandma’s pizza and it was unreal. It was truly one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while. They have also great customer service, Emily was super helpful and made the experience even better. Can’t wait to go back!

Awesome little pizza place! Has to now be my favorite in town. They have a variety of options and even have non pizza specials (like i had butternut squash ravioli it was super good) the pizza is priced well and I enjoyed their deserts. I recommend the lemoncello cake with a subtle lemon flavor and not so sweet.

Everything I’ve ever ordered, has been top notch. My go to is basic pepperoni with extra cheese, and it sounds basic, but it blows everyone else’s out of the water. The meatball and chicken parm subs are phenomenal. This is my pizza place. What’s hilarious, is I literally drive past dozens of other places, to get pizza from them. And I’ll continue to do so.

We’ve had the lasagna and baked ziti as well as house salads. They were all good. So we decided to try a stromboli. It much more resembles a calzone (folded pizza) rather than the rolled stromboli we were expecting. It’s on us for not asking if it was traditional. Beyond that, the size of the portion was generous, and the taste was delicious.
