Great place to get a Korean food fix. There’s not a lot of authentic Korean food places out there in Utah county. This place is worth the drive if you’re in central Utah. Excellent customer service, clean bathrooms and tables. The service was excellent. Very attentive and all questions were answered clearly. Great food. I’m glad I was able to order a good sized Bibimap that came with all of the yummy little banchan side dishes. Plenty of food, great prices. Highly recommend.

Small intimate setting with careful service. We ordered the meat set for 2 and oxtail and this was plenty for our party of 4. The oxtail was tender and the meats super fresh good cuts. Dipping sauce and steamed egg custard side were all well received. Owner generously replenished some of the Korean pickles whenever it was finished.

Honestly I don’t do to many reviews However, Goong has become mine and my wife’s new favorite place to eat the sushi comes out perfect every time. Their potstickers are the best I’ve ever tasted and don’t get me started on their baked mussels they are truly amazing. Was happy with my visit. Employees were all very kind and restaurant looked clean. Relaxing sort of “massage type” music was playing. Food came out quickly and it was nice and hot. I enjoyed my sushi roll and was happy with the large variety of rolls to choose from! Made it a little hard to decide, I’ll have to come back to try more. Kimchi had good flavor with just the right amount of spice. Only thing I didn’t enjoy was the noodle soup. Texture of noodles was off and it had very little flavor. The tempura shrimp were good but got soggy quickly after being placed in the soup

This restaurant should not be mistaken for the original Korean restaurant that was in that spot. The food was hot and fresh, portions were huge and made from scratch. I had the Mussels Don and for $15 I was stuffed. I will be back!

Fantastic service and great food. We’ve come a few times and tried different things from a lunch special to sushi for dinner. This is better than most sushi in the area but not as good as higher end sushi places. We haven’t tried the buffet dinner before but it runs about $88 for two people. If you go on Tuesday or Wednesday it’s 25% sushi (excluding specialty rolls).
For lunch ~$9.99 + for sushi roll + tip – got the teriyaki chicken bowl which was great and a Vegas with potstickers.
For dinner ~$70 + tip- We liked the cowboy (hopefully you like chipotle), the lucky, the Vegas, and the B.T.S. We didn’t mind the Payson, and thought the Spicy tuna was alright.
Good place overall but not too high end sushi. Hits the spot though, especially because the flavors are distinct unlike a cheap sushi place.

I don’t usually write reviews, but Goong has become one of our absolute go-to spots! The food is consistently fantastic—I’ve never left disappointed.
Nan is truly one of the best servers I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting: attentive, kind, and always makes us feel so welcome. She’s especially wonderful with my 3-year-old daughter, who absolutely loves coming here.
She gives me the best Auntie vibe you could ask for.
If you’ve been on the fence about trying Goong, take this as your sign. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

This place is phenomenal!!! Every time I have been the staff is so kind, the food is delicious, and we get our food quickly! Today I ordered the spicy pork and it came out sizzling it was so fresh! There is a ton of options for sushi, main dishes, drinks, and sides! I reccomend this place to everyone!
