Wonderful hidden gem in Sunrise! We’ve gone twice now and will definitely be back to try more food. Everything is made from scratch and you can taste the freshness. No need to feel guilty eating pizza and pastas. The owners are pleasant people and take a lot of pride in cooking a good meal.

Their pizza is made with fresh ingredients. The pies go fast here! You can pick and choose from a large variety, and mix-and-matching your slices is a great bonus as compared to having to buy a whole pizza.
The atmosphere is laid back- great music.
They offer a wide variety of adult beverages to accompany your pizza, and both Italian Ice and fresh dessert.
Their price is low and the quality is high. The staff are always friendly and personable.

Had dinner here with my mom. They were very friendly people and provided great service. We started off with the freshly made bread, which was soft with a crispy crust. The salad was crisp and refreshing. I had the shrimp scampi which had a wonderful sauce and pretty big shrimp. Tasted delicious. My mom had the eggplant parmesan and she said it was just the way she likes it. It was a nice sized portion and she almost finished it off. We ended with some homemade chocolate mousse cake and cappacino. I would definitely come back.

Once again Moe blew me away with the beautiful presentation, freshest ingredients, superior quality, and delicious taste. This is a cool Mom and Pop place run. Last time I was here I told his wife “I don’t care what you bring me just bring me something.” The Seafood Combo was out of this world. I couldn’t believe food this good came out of this place so I had to talk to the owner. Moe showed me his kitchen and explained how everything here is made from scratch and it’s all about the process.
This time I had the Cajun Chicken Pizza and it was totally worth the 1 hour drive from Lake Worth. Colors we’re amazing and taste was delicious. I got into another conversation with Moe and he let me try his house sauce. OMG! Totally bringing my mom here as a mother’s day dinner.

Overall, if I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would. I had a terrible experience. I ordered the Chicken Francese, it was so disgusting. The sauce was awfully cold and tasted like it came straight out of a can. I would not be surprised if they microwaved the food too. The pizza was also poorly made, the cheese and sauce on the pizza were very runny as well as the dough being stiff. It is evident that they do make their food to order and they do not use fresh ingredients. Definitely will not be returning.
Also, this restaurant has signs stating “French Food.” I knew before “La Pizzetta” was here, this location used to be a French Restaurant and the food was outstanding, now its a shame to see that it is now a low end Italian restaurant.

What can I say I’m absolutely disappointed. First the gnocchi was over cooked mush. Second the sauce is literally a water down sauce straight from the shelf of Walmart. They don’t but any butter or garlic on the rolls. Why even call it a garlic roll. Ravioli straight from the freezer aisle. Same tomato sauce. This place is beyond BLAND. These good reviews are simply lies. They don’t know decent Italian food.

This is literally the most amazing place in the world, trust me GO! The reason I came in was because I saw a good deal for my boyfriend and I. They were SO accommodating, taught us about the wines, laughed and had amazing conversation about culture, it was amazing. The French husband wife running this place were so nice and grateful and everything was made from scratch by them! My new favorite!

Was coming to eat French and now it’s some horrible pizza place. Decided to still stay and eat. Decor is super cheesy cheap Italian. Food was below average and soggy and heavy on the garlic. Won’t be back. There are a lot more Italian places in the area with better food. Disappointing. If anyone knows where the French place went, please let me know. I’d love to follow them.

Apparently the business owner did not read the full review so,
1: For your information I did not think to look up a place I’ve been coming to for awhile. It’s like looking up Publix to see if it’s still down the street. So irrelevant. Lol
2: As I said in my review I “decided to still stay and eat”. Soooo….
3: As per my review I said it was soggy and heavy on the garlic. So I must have not gotten the high end Italian you are promising.
4: No disrespect to the staff. They were nice.
So thus I gave you a one star. Not being mean, with reasons being the food was terrible and I find no reason to come back and that deserves a one star. If it’s high end italian food you want, Cafe Viko is worth the drive but even then there are plenty more italian places in the area with better food and maybe the owner would actually read the review before they call people mean and take constructive criticism.

Owner was not happy I called him out for not reading the finished review. He “obviously” shows his professionalism in his response. Still 1 out of 5 stars. Whether he likes it or not. Will NOT recommend, and instead of apologizing and accepting criticism he attacks his customers from behind a keyboard. Wasn’t this on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares?

Great spot for some good eats! My husband and I stopped for lunch to use the “all you can eat pasta/pizza” and both the pasta and pizza were delicious! Service was great and friendly, prices were affordable. Will be coming back in the future!

The owner Patricia is a French Pastry Chef. This place is nice place for small family gatherings, Bday, any celebration you may have. I had the all you can eat special, I had a slice of pizza(delicious, thin crust, tasted amazing,NY style) I have pasta with marinara sauce, freshly made( sauce n pasta), in the premises, baked ziti with meat sauce. Also Patricia is the one that makes all pastries, everyday fresh. Great prices!! Also they do deliever!
