An uncovered gem in the heart of White Rock . The chef owner wants to please and does with spot on spicing and freshness. The atmosphere is that of a classic 50’s diner, which it probably was at one time.

A Hidden Gem in White Rock – Authentic Flavors, Warm Hospitality

White Rock Indian Flavors is the kind of place you almost walk past—small and unassuming from the outside—but step in, and you’re welcomed into a warm, vibrant space with a full city-style menu and hospitality that makes you feel instantly at home.

Authentic and Bold Cuisine
What stood out most was the authenticity of the food. Whether you’re after chicken, goat, lamb, or fish, there’s something here for every taste. The dishes are well-prepared, beautifully spiced, and—perhaps most importantly—they’re not afraid to serve it the way it’s meant to be enjoyed. The level of spice was just right and added depth rather than overwhelming the plate. Everything we tried tasted fresh and original, not watered down for the Western palate.

Excellent Service and Fair Prices
The service was outstanding—super friendly, attentive, and kind. You could tell they genuinely care about the experience of their guests. Portion sizes were just right, and the pricing was more than fair considering the quality and care put into each dish. This is the kind of restaurant that delivers not only a meal, but a moment of joy.

Highly Recommended
If you’re in White Rock or passing through, don’t miss this spot. It’s truly a hidden gem that deserves more attention.

To the team at Indian Flavors:
May your restaurant continue to grow and bless many. Thank you for your hospitality and your courage to serve food with heart. May your hands always be filled with good work and your tables with grateful guests.

This humble little restaurant has great prices, just $22 and some small change and the food is just outstanding. I had butter chicken, and it was done traditionally, so the sauce was far far above what you get at the grocery store. The spice balance was perfect. It was nice and tangy and spicy. And the Nan bread was of the best. The service was very lovely too, and they have lovely traditional music playing and interesting vids of India , on the TV
Just so perfect. If you love east Indian food at its finest, good lord, please check this place out.

I visited here for lunch with family and friends during my long weekend trip. Ordered tandoori roti, chicken tikka, fish and chicken pakora, chilli chicken dry and veg noodles. Chilli chicken is the top hit with amazing taste. Both chicken and fish pakora tasted decent. Chicken curry flavoured awesome but not happy with the tandoori roti. Roti’s were not fresh and hard. Vegetable noodles is average as it tasted bit spicy and didn’t had any authenticity in it. The service is good and the waitress is accommodating. Ambience needs to be improved. I am overall satisfied and will visit again.

Tried White Rock Indian Flavours in Surrey for the first time and wasn’t disappointed.

Ordered Dal Makhni & Paneer Bhurji along with some Tandoori Rotis, Butter Naans & Laccha Parantha from their menu for takeout.

Both the dishes were delicious and well made. They looked appetizing and the quantity was good as well. I felt that the Paneer Bhurj was missing a bit of salt but that was fine. It was also priced a bit higher and there was some hair in it.

The tandoori rotis were hard immediately after I returned and opened the packing foil but the butter naans and laccha parantha were okay.

I had asked for some onions and green chillies on the side but the green chillies were not fresh.

Overall, I liked the food and would definitely recommend trying this Indian restaurant.

Our first visit to this restaurant. We ordered the fish pakora appetizer, lamb vindaloo, lamb korma, white rice, vegetable biryani rice, and garlic naan. Everything was really good. The lamb dishes were exceptional. We ended up with leftovers of course…and that was intentional.
A young woman waited on us and she was very sweet. We felt well taken care of.
We ordered a 1/2 carafe of wine too. Small wine list but good choices.
This a small place with booths. Casual and comfortable space.
It’s great to have this dinner or takeout option so close to the U.S./Canadian border.

Simply the best Indian restaurant in White Rock, regardless of price and interior. And I have tried most of them, including expensive, fancy, and highly rated ones.

And it is my favorite Indian restaurant in greater Vancouver as well.

Food is consistently great – I have been coming to the restaurant for years – and the service ( and the kitchen!) is very friendly. I feel guilty for taking such a long time to leave a review – they deserved it much earlier.

As a side comment, sometimes I get heartburn or stomach problems eating in Indian restaurants. This has never happened here (I am typing as I finished another excellent dinner in the restaurant).

Bravo! Don’t change, please!

Food was decent. Chicken samosas were great. Got the basic butter chicken with garlic naan and raita. I didn’t like the raita as much, plus it was pretty salty. It was nothing amazing, it won’t exceed your expectations if that’s what you’re looking for. The garlic naan was good just not as crispy. The atmosphere wasn’t good either. It’s more of a take-out place even though they have seating available. However, the service was absolutely amazing. Great people!

In my opinion, this restaurant deserves a 4-star rating. The food tasted good, but the portions were small compared to the price. However, I would rate the decor and ambiance at 2 stars. It felt like I traveled back in time to restaurants from 30 years ago!

Ordered honey chilly cauliflower and fish pakora as starters, and they were super amazing. Kadahi chicken was normal, not too bad, and not so good. The staff was good.
